Trust Ciphers!

i've check my Perm items and it's not there, i wish i had Rainemard, and yes i have check the Roe, nada, no Quell your rage, your english is fine im just appreciated someone responded tyvm

Do you have regular shantoto? She's the last trust you need as a prerequisite to get the half-inscribed scrolls

i have all 11 npc's , all 3 permits in my Perm items,,,did all 3 quest's for the crystal war ,,even got some vorseals for doing them .so wasn't a totally lost, but i don't know what im missing? i've ck the RoE sooooooo many X's.. and talking to Jamal ,,so i would plzzzz appeciate help. tyvm

You need Curilla's dad. I don't have all trusts and i still flagged it right away after grabbing him. You should presumably go grab him.

idk ,i have her on my list even used the trusti find it so weird..i go to the trust Wetta ,who gives out the location of trust to get , and he says i have none to give ,my bag is empty lolol

Talk to Jamal in Ru Lude for KI , then speak to Shanene in Batallia Downs (S) (J-7 - center west on the grid) to receive a Cipher: Rainemard. Trade this to Gondebaud, Clarion Star, or Wetata.

nope jamal doesn't give it and i dont have any trust from the past ,.so im sure i never got that bundle and i backtrack all the 11 trust im suppose to have ,,and i cast them, im at a lost . ty

Are you sure you have "Shantotto"? Not "D. Shantotto" or "Shantotto II".

yessssssssssss i got the KI ,,what i had to do was do all quest related to Shantto then it was a long cS to get her trust finally that wsa the trick do all of the Shanto Quests,, cures folied agin ,,and 2 other quest then i got the trust . tyvn people im soooo happy i got it ,

Weird. I was able to flag the quest and get the Ark Angel GK cipher, but when I try to trade it to Gondebaud I'm getting "You cannot read this cipher due to an event occurring in Rhapsodies of Vana'diel. I'm in the ToAU portion of it now... not sure what would be holding things up.

It's part of the RoV story.

Really hope that doesn't mean I have to finish all of RoV to use him :/. I still have to work on those prerequisites on this character lol.

I had the same error when I was at the start of chapter 3. I didn't try to trade again until I finished RoV.

i got the KI reinmard and shanto. but cant flag the quest. theres nothing in ROE > Other > apart from "Daily" no "Quest". what im missing?

Did you talk to Jamal again? The ROE won't appear unless he's mentioned it.

You will have to a good bit further I'm afraid. I ran into the same issue myself. Once you complete either 3 - 1 - 11 Eyes on You, or 3 - 1 - 12 Exploring the Ruins (I forget exactly which one it was. they both take place in Hall of the Gods.) you will be able to use the cipher.

yeah he just mention something about bonds. but nothing more. no QUEST under ROE others (ps: i havent finish ROV)

I had issues for a long time, what finally did it for me was finishing Zilart (I already had finished CoP).

Notes
-Does not possess any White Mage spells, only Paladin-accessible ones. Might not even have White Mage as a job at all.
-Arrogance Incarnate is not full strength, dealing between 700 and 800 damage
-Has a 10-12% innate -DT effect. (4000 needles dealt 3,568 damage, 2000 needles dealt 1,768 damage; both of them witnessed multiple times and she had no outside buffs, I guess phalanx would affect it though)

Mnejing's innate DT is -37.5% and he can, in fact, shield block. Good if you haven't got August.

How do you get her?

I don't see any new objective for Ark EV, so how is she unlocked?

You talk to the person who gave you the Ark Angel GK Record of Eminence quest, and he gives you the new quest to kill AA EV on any difficulty. IF you have GK, and the NPC just tells you to "come back later," zone out, then back in and talk to him again.

smdh. So much for her being an equivalent to August... though she's definitely one of the better PLDs (as she cheats timers at bit)... She's just not the "always available" option for August and Amchuchu I was hoping for.

I was bored at Qilin today and decided to play with random trusts.

Chacharoon was interesting, and I can't find much info about him. He appears to be something of a gamble.

He's a THF with TH1. Most of the time he uses Pocket Sand & Sharp Eye. The latter is a sweet defense down that overrides or possibly even stacks with itself. It worked whether Qilin was facing Cha or not.

However, occasionally he will use Tripe Grip, which gives the target a potent Attack Boost. Qilin's Heat Breath went from doing 50 damage to 898.

I have to say, I actually enjoyed using him! It added a little element of surprise to the dull fights. I wouldn't advise using him against anything dangerous, though... unless you're looking for a real challenge!
