yeah I believe he said thaumaturges sorry (or maybe it was arcansist but definitely no bonafied healer such as conjurer, whm, or sch in the party). I keep thinking blm cause of FF11. Anyway they were complaining that the set up was making the dungeon seem harder than it really was (apparently it was a dungeon with a wyrm dragon as the final boss).

Probably Brayflox, that dungeon is the first actual difficult dungeon if not done correctly.

One thing I will say against the DF though,I miss having at least one *** physical DD. Everything goes so much better when at least 1 of the 2 is a melee job.

edit: At the same time I kinda understand the whole point of the "dual purpose" jobs. The game hasnt been out a week and we dont already need it to be XI and it's "X-Y-Z jobs or gtfo" playerbase style.

And in the DF's defense of the same above point,it gives me a chance to learn/adapt to new situations/playstyles I wouldnt normally have access to or think of factoring in.

Is there a way to resize and move the chat box on PS3 client? It's the size of an ipod nano on a 32" screen >.>.

I found this on a random site:

"Useful PS3 UI Tips & Tricks:

Turning the "Mouse" on and off:

To turn the mouse "on" press L1 + R3

To turn the mouse off press Start, then L1 + R3. Then press start again to close the menu.

Moving the chatbox:

Turn the above "mouse" on.

Move the mouse to the tab below your chatbox that says "General". A hand should come up. Press L2 and then move the chatbox using the right thumbstick to your desired location. Unfortunately, it seems this needs to be done each time we log currently. But at least it *can* be done.

Resizing your chatbox:

Turn the "mouse" on.

Locate the little arrow in the upper right corner of your chatbox.

Press L2 and use the right thumbstick to move the chatbox as far up / to the right as you desire. To determine the location of the chatbox, see my advice above."

Leveling one levels the other anyway so just choose whichever helps you xp more efficiently. If you are soloing that would probably be archer.

I know there's an independent merchant in the Ruby Exchange between the Adventurer's Guild and Lift Attendant in Ul'dah that sells.

Definitely DEX only. STR even with its other bonuses are just not good for ARC.

Anyone who is part of the "welcome back campaign" cant get it till the 9th (or whenever it is,with the extended free days) because you wont be billed till then. The Voidal Resonator mount looks sick for lalafell.

Now time for my question!

There are only 3 levels of FATE rewards right? Bronze/Silver/Gold?

I find that hitting Up/Down helps, Carby counts as a PT member, so using Up/Down will cycle to him. He's always at the bottom of the list, so if you hit Up twice, then you'll be on him.

Assuming you're on PC anyway D: I dunno how PS3 does it.

Thanks for the response, I actually do do this. Was just wondering if you could make a macro to specifically target the carbuncle (as in it targets him upon hitting the macro, not having to cycle to him). However considering that unlike players the pets don't have unique names (to distinguish them from other people's pets/summons) I'm pretty sure this isn't possible so I'll just continue doing what you suggested.

Did you put "" around the action and <> around carbuncle?

/action "physick emerald" <carbuncle>

Not sure if this will work.

I just tried /ac "Physick" <pet> in the chatbox and that worked for me, so it should be fine in a macro.

Does anyone know where you report bugs?

If you type /blist add in the chat box the game crashes.
