mnk/blu can be nice but is so situational. Generally mnk/dnc or mnk/nin will win. Well at higher lvls. Low lvl yeah it's kinda crazy for short time zerging

You know it's a real shame blood tanking isn't feasible in this game. I mean that's what pally's role is until merit time. Would be nice if SE would adjust some calculations for damage mitigation. It should imo be equal if not better than blink tanking.

I thought about getting BLU to 37 for sub, but I need to read up on the xNMs that MNK can solo and see if it's really needed. Out of all my choices, it seemed to be the most useful and balanced. However, Beastmaster was right next to it. Being able to solo and never have to either wait for parties or deal with people sounds so pleasing. And of course, NM solo! XD

Get 999 def -50% physical dmg and +150 vit and it probably... well no it still wouldn't be. Even if it prevented more dmg per hit. Blink tanking is so good not just cause def/vit/-pdt do so little but because the whole minimizing tp gain for the mob.

That's the thing, they should really re-adjust the way mobs gain TP since everyone goes on a multi-hitting haste capping spree anyways. It's really not fair to tanks that should be taking hits. But whatever. FFXI is a lost cause to SE with XIV in the works. To them it's just something to pay the mortgage for now.

Generally /dnc is the safest soloing on anything that can be blood tanked and /nin for those that can't
I do know that mnks solo ENM 50 I think it is which has Toreadors rings I think. mnk/dnc is excellent soloing. Seen ones chain 5 easy against imps and other stuff.
And yeah /nin /whm for those NM solos once you get a good Chi blast set and epic Chi blast Boost maccros like the one that is over 9000 pages long

Heh I remember before SE remembered to water down the waltz formula for /DNC monk/dnc was able to solo ODS. Now that was broken lol.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
