Been at work for 90m already, not a single freaking customer.
No bill payments, no one wanting to buy a phone, not even a charger.

Just me, my Droid, a leather couch, and a view of Subway to torment me with.
Oh, and ffxiah forums, of course.

If I recall correctly, the Droid was Verizon exclusive, but a pretty much identical phone made for T-mobile was called the Cliq. And for now, the iphone remains AT&T exclusive. Rumor has it that might change though.

Beats the piss out of iPhone, and its on a better network.
And that's regardless of where I work.

Better OS, nicer apps, no fkin Applegeeks, upgradeable to a 32Gb Sdcard.
Doesn't have Flash yet, but in the next few months it will.
Oh, and it runs a v.nice SNES emu.

..ninjaedit, I work for an independantly owned Verizon franchise.
Droid is the Milestone in EU markets, the closest thing TMob has is the MyTouch and it is crappy.

I've been very happy with atts network. I've never had problems with them in the 6 years ive had service. My bf finally switched over he had verizon and couldnt get service in half the areas I did when we'd travel. Not to mention the horrible cutstomer service he had a number of times.

My bad, the Cliq is the closest thing, but ew it has motoblur, /gack.

Other than that seems solid, Cliq is most comparable to the HTC Droid Eris, if you glued a keyboard onto it.

Id suggest changing networks, but TMob's termination fees are brutal.

Aye, I'm pretty much *** until my contract runs out (which will take another year or two -.-) and that means not upgrading which in essence is extending your contract. Ugh. Maybe I can just ebay a droid, unlock it and use call cards? Might *** over my online access though eh?

But can't you download via PC and upload to your phone directly? >.>

your very lucky I don't know if it's AT&T or my iPhone but I get the worst signal strength and random no service zones. X.x I bought a new iPhone to fix the problem but I think it's just the phone ~.~

Do you live in/near a major city? AT&T is usually better there.
If you're talking 3G (data network) coverage, which is what all Android powered phones require, Verizon beats the snot out of the other major networks in both coverage and reliability.

People tend to expect more from customer service than its ever going to be able to provide.
Retail too, I get people all the time thinking I can just GIVE them a phone, and all the newest shiny bells and whistles, unlimited talk/txt/data all for $10.
Most of the time I have to bite my tongue before I ask them if they expect a handjob too.

A) Verizon has prepaid monthly plans now as of 2 weeks ago. $5/month more than the same plans for a contract, but without a deposit or contract signing. Have to pay retail on the phone though, or supply it yourself. (Walk into the store with an ebayed droid, for example)
B) Therefore you could use calling cards, pay balance via debit/check over the phone, or pay in store.
C) Can be on prepaid data also, so no *** up your internets.
D) I often torrent House, upload to my droid and watch it here at work.

Verizon has always been excellent for me, the only carrier i've never been with is T-Mobile, and thus far Verizon has topped them all. I recently moved from San Antonio and the only places i had no service were on base in the hospital, not including the secure areas that are made that way.

Yeah, I think the key is finding a phone you really like, get it elsewhere for cheaper (ebay!) and just unlocking it and going with the pre-paid no contract thing. That way you don't have to fret about how much and when they take out money from your checking account. It'll already be taken care of and will last as long as it's supposed to.

How? That's GOT to be overages.
Even with a 5 line familyshare plan, unlimited EVERYTHING, all lines running a smartphone data plan per line, that barely hits $450 after taxes, and if you know a family of 5 all with droids/crackberries/etc. I want to handle that account.
