Lol I dont like twilight, I was being sarcastic
Uh huh, yeah right, sarcastic.

I read all 4 of them. Took me a long time to get through the 2nd and 3rd ones cause they were so slow. I much prefer the sookie stackhouse series if I want something Vampire. I'm sorry edward and the crystal skin and HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE native american warewolves doesnt do it for me.
I touched one of the books one time, not knowing what it was. As soon as I saw the cover, I threw it and dipped my hands in holy water. I then promptly called poison control and asked them what I should do. They told me there is no cure at this point... It's only a matter of time before I become... one of them.

Pam is by far my favorite character. She has a much larger role in the books, I wish they would put her in the show more often.

lol xD. I read all the twilight books because one of my friends told me they were good. They were not. And they are certainly not worth all the attention they are getting! It's a cheesy love story made worse by the fact that the main characters are emo, moody, boring teens. No one even likes the normal romance novels with actual adult characters, why would anyone like an emo kid obsession-taken-too-far story? It just boggles my mind why half the women in the world now want a boyfriend who is basically a walking, glorified syringe. I've gotten blood drawn, it's not actually fun. So why the hells I would want to make a boyfriend of a syringe, just no, just wow lol.

It's annoying how the author (What's her name? Mayers?) completely destroyed the whole vampire genre with just a few silly tween books, too. Sparkly and 'vegetarian,' my arse! Has the woman never read a real vampire book? ._. Anyways. /rant off.

I have to say, I've read all the books as well and I do HATE the fact that the author, as you said, destroyed the classic image of vampires.

Edit: and as for blood drawing.. vampires have always had a sexual appeal to them but as much as I love them in reality I pass out from getting my blood drawn XD

If you read the books you'd understand what was going on and you'd actually be excited about it. I really hope they do it justice.

Think so. But when I was downloading the first season I'm pretty sure I had to search for Tru Blood to find it.

I would much rather read the books because they're of course, always better, and you get to use your imagination and have your own image of the characters ect.. which may be ruined with movies/shows such as Twilight

Not always. Plus I like something quick and easy I can do while fishing or FOVing etc. I just don't have the time or patience for books unless I'm on the go generally. Or with family ewww
