Speaking of delivery, a couple of days ago I had my garage door open because I just pulled in with a groceries. I had taken them in, closing the door behind me.
In the space of time it took me to set that stuff down and go back to the car to grab my work effects (lunchbox, umbrella, etc.) UPS pulled in, ran into my garage (instead of going to the more-readily-accessible front door), dropped the package off without knocking, and driven away before I ever saw the guy/girl. I mean, look. Social anxiety is one thing, but it's package delivery. When did they stop knocking first at all, especially when it's pretty clear you're home?

(That's a good way to have a gun drawn on you in some areas.) What goes through their minds?

Here they deliver to stores nearby (convenience stores etc) and send you a thing to take there (or text a code) so you can get your package if it's something small I guess they deliver to your house if it's something like furniture but if you're ordering a phone or game you usually have to go pick it up Smaller country though so normal postal service is enough for most things, we get items within a day or two (depending on when it was sent out)

turned my tv off 5 mins into it. spath spath, you get the code thingy for gold shiny stuff? Volk, have you ever been to Traders Village in Dallas, Houston or SA? When you start wandering into the sketchier part where you see a lot of tools, lawn equipment, stereo systems, etc. you start thinking people need to learn to keep their damn garages closed (and why no one would want a stranger poking around there). I bet a lot of tools are stolen out of construction sites, also.
I like getting a little sun drunk while stuffing my face with hotlinks and looking at exotic birds/animals, but...
