You were in band, right? I remember they took the Girls' Athletic approach with band and had them march for an extra hour, no matter what season, if someone "misrepresented the school".
About as bad as a group of kids being tackled by my Vice Principals in high school. When the law needs to be laid down, it gets laid down.

Was slammed into some lockers by an ex-geography teacher at my former middle school, then charged with assault and trespassing.

the assaulted was dropped when video footage showed him clearly throwing me into lockers, then me punching him in the neck and running like the wind.

meh.

One of my fave teachers from high school was recently fired and charged with several things after ***-slapping a student.

Drumline is utter ***. *** despise that movie.

American Pie gets a pass because, while it gave us that *** awful line that has haunted the *** out of every band kid since, she's still cute and it has a lot of nostalgia value despite also being a genuinely terrible movie.

As far as that "genre" though, Euro Trip >>>>>>>>>>>> all.

In other news, good mornin'.

How are things?

McDonald's coffee really is probably the best to-go for your buck out there. *** Starbucks' overpriced swill, and *** Panera for their horrible location choice.

I see you're forgetting Wawa.

PSA: Free Wawa coffee on Thursday.

I see you forgot not to violate the Convenience Store Treaties of Pennsylvania by not bringing up any manner of discussion that may degenerate into an argument over Sheetz v. Wawa!

I have nothing inherently against Wawa, the last time I was in one was approximately 1999 and at the time Sheetz blew them out of the water, but I've seen photos of Wawa in the interim and they seem pretty legit now...

...but that doesn't mean I don't have WPA pride to fight for.

Anyhow, Sheetz (or Wawa, I'd guess) coffee is preferable to McDonald's, being of similar quality (superior depending if that particular Sheetz keeps their Columbian on regular brewing rotation) and ~20 cents cheaper, but I have to go a mile the other direction to go to Sheetz, and I don't have the time for that sort of circuitous route in the morning.

Or, that is to say, I could have the time if I got up 15 minutes earlier, but that's completely counter to the point anyhow.

I think what I'm saying is they really need to let me work from home on my own schedule.

Thank you, Dameshi, for triggering the "Ramyrez's incoherent stream of consciousness" post. I'm sure Nik is going to love you for it.

Does anyone else really hate when you call a company -- bank, utility, cable, phone, medical system, whatever -- and their hold message is "did you know many of our services are available online?"

I assure you, I would only call you once I've exhausted online options, I don't want to talk to you, you have left me no other option!

But I had to stop a few places before work today so figured I'd just pick up coffee.

at our local post office they have a little spot on the counter for dropping off boxes that are labeled and ready to go...

I love going there and skipping past twelve people in line and dropping stuff off....dumbfounded dipshits stare mouth agape

Every once in a while someone will vocally complain "how does he get to skip the line" and I reply

Yeah, It's this new thing they have... it's called the internet...

but you have to really lay on the sarcastic tone nice and thick

monday.

bleh

so 2 nights ago, had a dream, that there whas time travel, one via a dangerous... time portal pool (?) but once you'd get in there you'd have to find the exit before the pressure would get to you. (like diving to a pool)
then there was a small phone-like device we got, which was able to actually time travel a vehicle and people with it.
issue with this, device, that it only worked once, and to use it again, we'd have to pay to use it again, like one of those dammed cellphone games.... so we where scrambling to get another device to actually return to our original time.

I often wonder who are those *** people and what is their major malfunction!?

I kinda understand the "I unfriend you" grandmas buying stamps with change from their little change purses....

perhaps they are afraid to interact with robuts and the automated scale/stamp/postage dispenser right next to the counter with the huge BUY YOUR POSTAGE RIGHT HERE MORONS!!! sign on it for the twelve people that don't have the internet yet....

but wtf is everyone else's excuse? they're lonely and desperate for human interaction?
