Meh.

My favorite "thrill" wooden coaster is at the Great Escape in Queensbury, NY, but I didn't ride it there. I rode it as the Comet at Crystal Beach in Ontario. I wish I had been around back in the old days when it was the Cyclone, when they kept a nurse stationed at the attraction to care for people who passed out.

I'm a big Cedar Point fan and of most of the coasters there both wooden and steel.

The Predator at Darien Lake is probably the "best" wooden coaster out there for my money.

Then again, the Comet at Waldemeer in Erie is my all-time favorite wooden coaster even though it's just some ***little coaster. Because hey. Childhood nostalgia > all.

I literally just fixed a latch on a dock door because apparently I'm also the closest thing to maintenance around here... which if I were to say that to my father his response would probably be a laugh followed by, "That's scary." I'd nod in agreement.

Warm, cheesy, bacon breakfast burrito and a good cup of coffee have soothed my soul this morning. At least for a time.

This weekend bloody evaporated on me though. I blinked, and then it was gone.

Got to play quite a bit of Rainbowsix | Siege this weekend. Gotten use to the controls and stuff. Managed to kill a whole team off by myself xD. Wish I recorded it :|
Also got back a little bit into XIV. Ended up trolling people :S
oh and possible meetup with someone of interest some time this week :o

If not one of their products (I'm not seeing a brand involved in that image), it looks like an imitator of Utilikilt, which I have one of and am very pleased with, though currently all but one of my kilts is too big, and the other one is getting there.

Holding off on purchasing any new long-life expensive garments until target weight is reached and maintained for a time. Which...I enjoy losing weight. Having to wear clothes that are too big gets old really fast though.

so the story is a little slow at first, slowly starts to pick up, assuming you dont wander around doing side quests or get more sidetracked with other stuff.
combat mechanics are a bit wonky early on until you get used to them, also helps a lot of you read the manual. Hud uses a small font, so sometimes hard to read ***and there is a lot of info on it, you eventually go to settings and hide some ***.
Target locking is awesome, but took me up to chapter 4 to find out we had that lol. (read manual at this point)
you can also target limbs and break them. very nice to weaken a mob/boss and stop certain attacks.

Music is pretty good, except the combat music... it is just weird (not bad, not good), like a techno song with rap, some by a Jpop girl, others sung by a Engrish-JP rapper, not bad, but weird on an RPG.
I do like this one tho


Visuals, it is pretty smooth, and while not Squeenix/PS4 super duper HD-flares stuff, overworld is just damn amazing to look, from day to night, weather effects.... and that feel... when you run into your first giant monster.... is just... breathtaking, sorta like watching Jurassic Park (1st one) for the 1st time.

Areas are not fully designated for level progression, you can find lvl 50+ mobs scattered around lvl 5's, which makes combat more... careful, as to fight your target with out making that lvl 80 mob notice you. lol some mobs also move around or leave during the day/night transition or just behave differenyly (like Ocarina of time?)

few problems? yup.
while exploring the ***out of this planned is *** tons of fun, there are a few stuff that...
-toggling combat on/off is wonky.
-running/repossitioning during a fight is bad. have to run a great distance to loose agro, and once an attack is declared on a target (enemy or yours) it will still land on the target with the regular hit-miss rpg rolls, as if you where standing still. this said, I was hitting a target (auto attack with gun) inside a tower from outside, since I fell from the side of the building.... lol
kind of an old RPG mechanic in a 3D rpg? lol
-not sure if intended or not, I was able to get some map objectives just by running/jumping on steep side of a cliff, totally not going into an area filled with lvl 50+ monsters. and indirect non visible route. lol
-no pause button, have to hard pause it by hitting the -system- button. lol
online?
I have yet to play online on the game, takes a few chapters to unlock, and once you do, you can link online to other players (read messages by them, can toggle on/off), join missions, do global objectives (community wide) which are tallied off and given points. that said, while you are online, you dont have to directly interact with people, as their characters are just scattered trough out the map as NPC's and can recruit them as NPC party members for some time, and they retain their gear/skills from the last time they checked in their chara at a terminal in home base.

TL;DR: big *** game, on a big *** world, with big *** monsters, with big *** robots.

it has to be better than mechwarriors and every other game like spawn and punisher where all you have to do is walk sideways and nothing can hit you lol...

from what I read, it takes about 30hrs to unlock your mech, and I assume it still retains RPG elements on the fights lol

take it off, give it to someone else from our group, and nom it...

IT IS CHICKEN!
oh well. still yummy. whatever, still good...

so they gave me the shrimp bowl, and explained to the worker there that I was called on and given another bowl
"oh, the girl maade a mistake, this is your order, you can eat the other one or trash it, idc"

so ate the chicken bowl and taking the shrimp bowl home.

Good morning all.

Didn't have time to make coffee this morning because I slept in a bit too much for...reasons.

So I'm enjoying some good Irish breakfast tea. While I've largely switched to coffee in the mornings, I had forgotten how much I enjoy a nice black tea in the a.m. too.

I see an increase in my hot beverage consumption in the future.

How is everyone today? Are we all still pushing through and working as the world burns around us?
