We don't have that over here, you're welcome to visit

But the kicker is, Sweden has the predictable seasonal transitions where the weather would compliment pumpkin spice and eggnog appropriately.

We also drink julmust

Quote:
Julmust (Swedish: jul "Christmas" and must "not yet fermented juice of fruit or berries", though there is no such juice in julmust) is a soft drink that is mainly consumed in Sweden around Christmas. During the rest of the year it is usually quite difficult to find in stores, but sometimes it is sold at other times of the year under the name must. At Easter the name is påskmust (from påsk, "Easter" / "Paschal" [q.v.]). The content is the same regardless of the marketing name, although the length of time it is stored before bottling differs; however, the beverage is more closely associated with Christmas, somewhat less with Easter and traditionally not at all with the summer. 45 million litres of julmust are consumed during December, which is around 50% of the total soft drink volume in December and 75% of the total yearly must sales.

Must is made of carbonated water, sugar, hop extract, malt extract, spices, caramel colouring, citric acid, and preservatives. The hops and malt extracts give the must a somewhat root beer-like taste, but much sweeter. It can be aged provided it is stored in a glass bottle. Some people buy julmust in December only to store it a year before drinking it. The European Union may ban julmust since they banned the selling of malt beverages containing caramel colouring. But it may be saved as while it originally was made with malt and hops it nowadays is done with malt aroma.

I'm not a fan of it lol

Also 'mumma' which I can't really find a good description of lol

It's like a spiced/herbed alcoholic drink with sugar (or stuff like sprite) in it to make it sweet, I think it's usually made with with porter and port wine or or some other wine and what we call 'sockerdricka' (like sprite). It can also be made with sparkling wine

I tried that and while I don't like alcohol much it was pretty good

I just sent this exact image to my wife earlier to describe the smell of chili someone had in a crock pot in the break room.

Talking about pumpkin spice everything and how it can go to hell.

Yeah, the pumpkin spice phenomena is scooching closer and closer to overkill. Then again, I can't take it unless it's a high of sixty degrees. It doesn't feel right. It's like when eggnog is being stocked in late-October. It's bothersome.

Maybe that's the thing and why it triggers "so early," according to some people.

Because the leaves started changing weeks ago here, and I suspect that's what puts people in the mood for it, so to speak.

I've played Beyond Earth non stop all weekend. It's been years since I last played a Civ game, I forgot how addicting it can be!
It's so easy to lose track of time and dump hours into a civ game. Then when you realize it becomes, "I should really stop playing now. Well only 4 more turns until I discover electricity. Oh then 2 more turns and I'll finish Big Ben. I don't want to forget what I was going to do next, so I should finish that at least."
Then your alarm goes off to wake up for work...
Speaking of Sid Meyers Civilization V...
You know where this is going...
Sorry, I have work next week.

It seems this has become a yearly thing now.

I just received a care package from my aunt for the stinkbug yesterday, too.

EDIT: *** it. Drac and I chatting about this via PM. I'll say it here: American Christmas is hallow.

Having that video bookmarked is dangerous. Some times I'll randomly see it and be forced to watch it multiple times.
