so, 2pm rolls in.
sales person comes into my office...
-"sup. hey I need you to do 1:1 patters on this job, client is coming tomorrow to see and pick the up"
>"uhm ok. what job again?"
-"CoSD [shortened], 3 display pannels"
> [pulls up paperwork] "you mean 2 right?"
-"no, 3"
>"paperwork only has 2 comps, not 3"
-"cover says 3"
>"I am missing one comp and a file then"
-"Ill have design send it to you then"
so I had 2 out of 3 files. open them up and start deleting extra junk. prep for print...
"hmm what is this?"
one of my structures did not match the overall dimensions according to paper (by one inch, srs issue for a structure like this). look more closely to it, lots of the internal errors...
I run to design
"dafuq is this ***"
what do you mean?!
"art is wrong, sizes dont match, I am missing an inch somewhere. find it plz."
looks fine, tubes are 1"
"check again plz, they are not."
uhm 1.0454
"yeah"
I dont see a problem
"ok, there are about 20 tubes stacked. add that .0454 ten times"
....oh...
"please fix it. k thnx"
in the end, I was only able to print one out of 3, the missing 2 also have incorrect measurements, paperwork doesn't have ALL the details to know (verify) "where" is the discrepancy, and sales person already left...
yup. right on schedule, not my *** in trouble.
