Well, I'm trying to cut back drastically on my soda intake to basically 2-3 cans a week on the weekend used as mixer/chaser for drinks. But my addiction with soda isn't the sugar as it is with so many people, it's the carbonation. So unsweetened lemon sparkling water is actually a really good stand-in. That said, it really pisses me off the stuff is *** NEVER on sale with the rest of the pop. So even if Coke products are on sale, I'm paying full price for 12-packs of Dasani, or having to buy bulky, awkward litre bottles of Deer Springs. Basically, what I'm trying to say is it's Tuesday and I'm angry about everything right now. WIN. Why do people keep referring to the Japanese as pacifists? What in their history has shown them to be pacifists?

Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution Edit: that is to say, post-modern Japan has generally been pacifist, or at least non-aggressive, since the end of the second World War. Obviously taken in context of their entire history, there's a bit more of a, shall we say, bloodthirsty streak. They only adopted that stance because it was forced upon them.
