Age doesn't really matter to me moreso physical attraction (yes, I'm a shallow ***), substance and the ability to keep a conversation. Bonus points if you can insult me while being adorable at the same time or reach escape velocity with geekiness.
Wit is pretty much the way to my heart outside sweet treats or bribes.
There is a point where age becomes a factor (usually 10 years+) though. Dating someone with kids has always been a dealbreaker for me. OKCupid is Satan. I don't need baby daddy drama in my life.

Understood. I think we all know that those years are a second spurt of growth, exploration, and "hill and valley" experiences that are jammed-packed into a small amount of time in addition to new freedoms.

Anytime I hear someone like ~17-21 exclaim they're in true love I can't help but mentally laugh. It's like hearing a toddler say they finished some calculus homework.
Sure a genius kid could exist 1 in a million and really do that math but most likely that young person has no clue what romantic love is, they just want to know or think they do.
There's maybe 2/5 couples I know who ended (still TBD) up marrying their significant other from below age twenty that are still together.
That walk-about period makes for a hell of a relationship check list (pros and cons). Feather in your cap for the long haul, I think!

I'm not gonna knock em as I thought such things at that age and why shouldn't you? Look at how the media portrays love, relationships and marriage in general. In 90 minutes your Disney heartthrobs go from hopeless romantics to happily ever after. Same for movies, books and Final Fantasy XI!
Not to mention that between 17-21 is home to apathy, cynics and Ayn Rand fodder. It's a very polarizing portion of life for most people where you think you something yet know nothing. For every hopeless romantic you've got someone high on Nietzsche dropping quotes like it's the hottest ***around.

If you were to see my Facebook feed you'd think everyone in the world was perfect and that relationships just happen instantly.
I mean as long as you filter out the woman who posts to her deadbeat baby daddy in a passive-aggressive tone, the man who posts all these intellectual lovey quotes to his galpal sitting right next to him, the new parents posting their kid puking on the dog, the bitter romantic who has declared love is a farce, the other dude who posts nothing but boobs, the other other dude who posts dinner dates with his body pillow and the gal who loves her rotten cards and vibrators.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
