Wake up? It showed itself at like midnight...

I thought it was suppose to be later when it was in its full form. Did you spot it?

I tried, but shane was acting like a jackass, up all night making raccoon-esque noises for no reason, & those must've been the few hours he let me sleep. around 3am I saw the edge of it waning out. I'm going to set an alarm for the next few.

I was comatose an hour after the bug was asleep. I had the alarm set for 2:00 AM but turned it off. Lunar events should be reserved for weekends!

I may be too young for a back in my day statement but I remember this so... Back in my day MTV, Music Television, played music videos except during Spring Break when they showed drunk teenagers dry-humping in Corpus Christi or something.

Why don't they rename MTV to reflect the reality/pregnant teen/hot tub sex/viral video programming schedule they show nowadays?

Ridiculousness is pretty funny though.

because that's what all these channels do, & no one calls them out on it.

I remember when I could get high and actually learn something about history on the "history channel" now it's all pawn shops & loggers yelling obscenities at one another. IT SUCKS!

I just love history, so it chaps my ***.

It went, roughly:

lots of history > a fair mix of history, with too much emphasis on WWI & WWII stuff > only WWII stuff with the nonsense creeping in > all nonsense

booooooooo

That's about how I remember it. Lol

History used to be all I watched. Comedy Central before that but went History after I got tired of repeat 80's movies that half the time weren't even comedies, only watched the stand up shows, daily show, Colbert Report..

I really hope the reality TV fad burns out soon.

EDIT: I blame 'Road Rules' and 'The Real World'.

'Road Rules' was pretty good though. Sad they did away with that before 'The Real World'. Does MTV even have that anymore?

Huh? LOL!

I can't really ***. I still turn to Bravo for background noise. :/

I really liked the original 'Project Runway' when it was on Bravo. We used to have 'Project Runway' nights in college.

It was a joke, the History channel has lost the little credibility they had left with that garbage.

that is a little fuzzier in my memory, as it was only one family, & I think I was pretty easy to jump on the anti-government band-wagon, but can't remember why. I was really young when I read about that one.

Didn't even remember that. The similarities are spooky.

Quote:
Randy Weaver, a former Iowa factory worker and U.S. Army combat engineer, moved with his family to northern Idaho during the 1980s in order to "home-school his children and escape what he and his wife Vicki saw as a corrupted world." Vicki, the religious leader of the family, believed that the apocalypse was imminent and believed her family would survive the apocalypse in a remote mountainous area. They bought twenty acres of land on Ruby Ridge in 1983 and began building a cabin.
