/cringe I was thinking about starting a one about breastfeeding and see where it went from there.
I'm curious as to how many other people don't mind when a woman does it, but it still makes them uncomfortable to see it. My opinion is biased because I'm insanely more calculating/overthinking than most people but it doesn't bother me at all. Women need to go places sometimes and I can't blame them for needing to feed their kid while they do.
Most men, or at least the ones I'm around, know the health benefits to both mother and child and/or have children of their own.

I just see all these pages like "Breastfeeding mothers take a stand" or a video where a mother whipped it out at a Children's camp, was asked by an employee to cover it up for the sake of the children and the mother was screaming at her while feeding.. and her husband got it all on video with is camera.
I'm all for rights, it's just that the act of it makes people uncomfortable. Most people say "it's my right..", but what about mine? Equality only applies to individuals?
And BS on "just look away". In a restaurant, most chances you can't because it's right in front of you, so it's not a valid excuse.

Hey! I got off vent when I had to pump or something the few times we've played since the birth. I also do you the courtesy of not listening to the piggy sounds he makes. Snorting babies are hilarious though. Glad we're introducing solids, because I'm sick of being handicapped during pumping or feeding.
Pumps are annoying as Hell, BTW. Can't read, can't hear the TV, you just sit there.

It gives me the "I know it's natural, but it makes me feel dirty looking at it" sort of deal, you know? A lot of other people aren't alone in that aspect. That and if someone decides to do it in a restaurant I shouldn't be "forced" to look away because I would be infringing on someone else's rights.
It works both ways, and a lot of these protesters don't see it that way.

My office has a room designated for women to go pump, thankfully. (And it's Austin, so...) The only time I feel comfortable doing it in public, it's really not in public. It's only around friends who have kids or are breast-feeding ATM too. Husbands/fiancees/BFs don't really care, because they're all accustomed to it, and everyone has the sling cover anyway.

I think that's my problem is that I'm not accustomed to it. Maybe if I was I wouldn't feel this way, just still creeps me out.
Also, I've heard that breastfeeding is supposed to be intimate bonding time. Iunno, but if it were me I wouldn't want "bonding" time to be around several complete strangers (family/close friends are another thing).
/shrug too, the whole thing just confuses me.
I think someone put it best is that this is the "bra burning" of this generation, lol.

I was squeamish about it in my early twenties, but as people started producing, I just became desensitized to it. I guess it's just whenever you cross that threshold with your friends.
We still have single friends that get the willies about it, but they're the ones who still have that Peter Pan Syndrome. "Yeay! It's Summer! No work for three months! Let's do some key-bumps!" or "Let's go to Bonnaroo or Burning Man! I'll get some caps!" That crowd. Not saying everyone that gets the willies are this way though.
EDIT: No offense to you, Hev. I know you were planning on doing Bonnaroo last year.

Game Grumps is a show that originally starred Egoraptor (famous for animated sketches) and JonTron (game reviews and his bird, Jacques). They play games and have a good time and joke around. It's pretty good stuff.
After one year, JonTron decided to part ways and someone named Danny (Danny Sexbang from Ninja Sex Party) took his place.
Once the split happened, they announced another show called "Steam Train" that stars Danny and someone else named Ross. They play all the Steam/computer games that Game Grumps couldn't.
There ya go. It's pretty fun entertainment if you wanna give it a look sometime.

For about a year or so, Arin was doing it with Jontron, but recently Jon left and was replaced by that Danny guy. I'm a person who gets addicted to personalities, so when you change that... I get all sad. That's also why I prefer shows to movies. Here's an excerpt from one of the original Game Grumps with Arin and Jon:

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
