Sometimes I read twitter on my phone maybe twice a day, or whenever I go to the bathroom. I'm trying not to be on facebook anymore at work. I can't really draw well and I hate reading. I don't mind writing stories but I just feel very unmotivated to do anything right now. I'm even out of games to play.
I check it out of...compulsion. I only really have it so I can build a following for some of the stupid (redacted expletive) I say, it's annoying as (redacted expletive) to really communicate on there. You ever try Lucid Dreaming? That's helped me quite a bit with writing. That and just like...not talking to people via text, but out loud...like long real conversations, that helps too.
What I've been addicted to lately comes in the form of the word "podcast", internet radio...etc. I love it.
Joe Rogan Experience, Smodcast, Doug Loves Movies to name a few good ones. But there's a lot I'm not even mentioning because they are even more unknown than the three I already mentioned might be to most folks.
I was visiting a vendor in Trumbull, Connecticut for a training seminar and while everyone else went to Scores in nyc the design engineer, some other geek and myself instead went out for seafood at the most amazing restaurant. it was right on the water looking across at ny. They had a dinner special with two, two pound lobsters and twice baked potato and salad etc. the works for twenty bucks. It was so good I am writing about it fifteen years later....
If ever I perfect my time machine I want to take my wife there, for that moment with the sun setting behind us sending light across the bay and the foodgasm and the waves breaking on the rocks probably one of the most romantic, idyllic settings I have ever been in and of course I was with two fellow nerds.... I wasn't driving so I could drink, you could still smoke in restaurants. (I used to enjoy smoking between courses).. just sitting there watching sailboats glide across the water, sipping cognac and lazily eating enough food for three or four people... afterwards I waddled back to my hotel and slept like a hibernating grizzly bear....
meanwhile at scores.... the rest of the group was getting their *** kicked by chuck zito and company... one of them (the *** that started the trouble) ended up in jail and was expected to remain there at least until the following monday. The few that made it to class the next day looked hilarious, with their faces swollen shut, black eyes, large welts, stitches, one had a bruise on his neck.
The designated driver for the evening told the horrific tale of driving all around new york lost stopping at every bar on the way with a van full of idiots all getting increasingly drunk and upset about the length of the journey finally getting into the place around one in the morning, acting like ***, while getting warned that they were be about to be thrown out, the main asshat of the group says something stupid about how much they paid to get in and then grabbed a passing waitress' *** or something and then the place exploded and the whole group took a vicious beating right there in the booth. Even the driver, the only sober/non belligerent one. The side of his face looked like it got hit with a brick. He said he knew that they were already in deep trouble, their booth was completely surrounded by dangerous looking bouncers and despite his desperate begging none of the other guys were shutting up or calming down... he saw the hand go up the girl's skirt and then the lights went out. He woke up on the sidewalk spitting blood and trying to find everyone and get them into the van before they were all arrested. they returned to the hotel around six in the morning.
of course to the drunk guys, even the one that went to prison, it was one of the greatest nights of their lives.... how often do you get the chance to go to ny and get beat up by someone famous?........
I recommend staying in Connecticut and enjoying the lobstah

I think so too, but I used to read more news sites. Angries up the blood. This is more relaxing, and this clan is good for laughs. I don't like to be angry at work. Some people have awesome anecdotes that just make me smile too. This is a nice compromise, even though I begrudge it sometimes.

Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
