I have no control over this. While I understand it as a chance to get you to learn more champs a bit more quickly I think you'd benefit more from actual games. Edit: Besides, ARAMs are better for drinking games. :x

I want to strangle some people here.
Last week, I made it clear to the secretary that we needed more *** Avery labels because we had none. And by none i mean not one sheet left. Today, about 5 business days later to which she very much could have went to *** Office Max, like she's supposed to, and get more labels, like she's supposed to, we're still out. (I use them a lot.) We got rid of the old secretary who did ***instantly (or within 2 hours of me asking) and got this little piece of ***who decided to go on AMAZON AND ORDER THEM CUZ SHE'S A LAZY ***. ARGH

oh yeah we never did hire them yet I keep forgetting. That sounds like poor planning on your part... And bad instruction... And did you just use the "B" word? YOU'RE FIRED!!! People are like robots, unless you give them detailed step by step instructions on how you want things to get done, they hide in the corner or walk into the same door frame for a half an hour.

ARGH Our office manager is the same way. She sits on Facebook most of the day. (Well...I have no room to talk. :/) How hard is it to keep up with basic supplies though? How hard is it to call a damn contractor or vendor? An e-mail takes no more than a minute too! She steams me to no end! One of her jobs is to keep up with the office supply inventory, and train the receptionist/assistants how to maintain filing, portfolios, plans and specs, but I find myself doing it more often than not. (I get really anal retentive though.) Last year, while we were in a predictable lull, I just grabbed the receptionist and an assistant, and cleaned out and reorganized all the storage rooms. Another time, I needed a portion of one of the project spec books printed off. She printed off the whole damn thing instead. (Somewhere around 700 pages dumped on my desk unbound.) After I found out I was pregnant, I adopted the "*** it! Let her sink!" mantra, but it's not coming back to bite her in the ***. The new receptionist and a couple of assistants have been through the ringer because she won't teach them their job! The office hubby and I have already said something. I hope she won't be with us next year. It's just not fair that these kiddos aren't given proper instruction in the first place and are crucified for her apathy/incompetence. TLDR: Venting. Sorry. :/ EDIT: I'm guilty of getting snappy with one of the assistants multiple times, but it wasn't until he said something and started asking me for instructions that I realized it wasn't his fault. I felt like a total ***.

I only work twice a week but I know I've been bugging her to do this last Tuesday and Thursday, asking her nicely, but she hasn't done it. I haven't sworn at her, but I have let my emotions seep thru with an angry face. @Zahrah I'm not one to talk either cuz I browse Reddit and FFXIAH at work but I do my job properly. I would've gone to get them myself but I can't because they use the work credit card and I don't have access to that. It just pisses me off that she waited til TODAY to do it, and worse enough to use amazon or office max's online site. I have a in-company back order of labels I need to print off since last week.

I always smirk to myself whenever I know the answer to a problem they're having here at work, but never tell them because they never ask.
