HS English classes were the best because they were literary intensive. I always did great in English, but learning all the tedious parts of English (grammar, spelling, etc., the elementary skills) gets boring. I don't know why they kept rehashing. You would think if you got that far, you wouldn't need to have a refresher all the damn time. So happy when we all started branching off into Regulars, Honors, Pre-AP, and AP.

Edit: I did have one AH'r send me scathing PM's about using them all the time and how it annoyed him though lol... I never understood why he was so pissed about it lol...

I did SRA cards from grade K-5 and some Phonics.
After that, it was write essays about stupid stories I don't give a ***about. I'm very bitter. English was never, ever good for anything. Pre-AP? that seems silly lol... I tested into honors English which also put me into honors languages ; ;... Sad thing was I tested into regular math with put me into regular sciences ; ;
all the ... used to be annoying but im used to it from you lol
I do the ... all the time and I have no idea why. I try to stop, but sometimes they just slip thru.

Flav-O-5, I'm with you on the ellipses. I use them mainly to invoke a feeling of mystery or perhaps a trailing thought... But yeah, I'm guilty on that as well.
