Having a college diploma doesn't guarantee you for a job. :< If anything it over qualifies you for the normal jobs.. so if you don't get one you need your diploma for then you're screwed D: When the market is begging for teachers of science, I think I'll be fine. There are actually like 2-3 scholarships in my area right now that I could use to pay for school just because I plan to be a science teacher and we need them so badly. :x
I'm not guaranteed a job, but I'm pretty damn optimistic looking at the job market.

The only thing I hate about temp agencies is that they have a set time that you have to stay as a temp so they get paid for a certain amount of time on that placement... so you pretty much pay them to get you a job but it's worth it in some cases...

Well since the economy is so bad, old people are waiting until their 401k evens out. When the economy starts getting better, there will be a mass influx of people retiring due to old age and such. They are going to need a lot of teachers within the next 3-5 years. Baby Boomers... I suspect you're right, though. Then we might have a different problem. Too many open jobs. It could be a problem when they have a need and no way to rectify it.

True I guess.. but the job market is horrible right now so its really all luck. Not all luck... some of it is connections... others is just hard work and effort combined with personal presentation... Honestly it really depends on what kind of work you're looking for too..

Onions are the best! :D Especially when they've been sauteed in butter until they are good and brown. Yummy! Also raw ones on burgers, and of course we can't forget onion rings. Yummy!
Also Liels, you haven't had mushrooms the right way. The "sliminess" usually comes from the preservatives of canned shrooms. If they're fresh when they're put on the pizza, they should end up being spongy, which is perfect because that's the thing about mushrooms. They absorb other flavors and give off their own nutty flavor on top of it. I used to hate them too for the same reason, but after a while I gave them a chance and now... mmm, I could just eat some raw right now.
I will give them another chance someday then. What could it hurt? ^^

I didn't even know you could buy mushrooms in a can and I think mushrooms are slimy ... I won't eat them because of the texture, but I do like things cooked with them as long as they are big enough to pick out!

Onions are gross. I don't care for them anywhere.
Mushrooms are slimy and brown when you've added a lot of heat. Most of the time they start out white and when you sautee them, they turn brown. I still wouldn't say they get slimy. When you sautee them, yeah they caramelize a bit, but so do a lot of plants when you cook them. To me, the flavor just gets nuttier. And now I want some.

I want my remains to be thrown overboard from a wooden ship into the exact center of the Pacific Ocean. Not because I like sailing or anything, I just want it to be a pain in the *** for all involved. My last parting gift on the world. None involved would forget the long journey.

I want to be cremated too! At least I know that my body won't be excavated in a century due to overpopulation.
I read about this convent or monetary on an island off the coast of Italy near Venice where the took in Bubonic Plague victims, and now that the water level is getting higher, corpses centuries and centuries old from the island will just float off.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.

Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
