Not because I hate writing, I enjoy my writing here and there. It's because I can't stand the way the classes are structured, ever. I don't like being forced to write on extremely specific topics in extremely specific ways, and I especially don't like reading about 60% of the books they decide to pick out for us to read and then analyze to the point where I'm ready to burn every copy of the damn thing. Don't get me started on the classmates I tend to end up with. :/ The last class I had couldn't read Shakespeare at all and it hurt me so bad inside, so bad. ... I could just be a huge ***. That's an extremely likely possibility after rereading this.

Spath, I'm the exact same. I'm going to community college this fall and I decided to take online English because I hate sitting in English classes so much, just want to do the work and move on, seriously.
Also... the only way I passed chemistry was because i could do the math, haha. Hatee chemistry but i love every other science. Biology major <3 Everyone but me hates chemistry... Why must I be the odd man out? ;.;

Let me write something creatively. I'll earn my A. Buuuuut, people like research and making claims backed up by statements from other people. It sucks, but it needs to be done. I'll say this, though. I'm going to hate assigning research papers when I'm a teacher. I'd feel like giving out a double standard. That's what I love about it! The ability to use something that you can't see or at times even completely comprehend is amazing! The complete randomness of an atom is simply fascinating to me and my need to find out more about it drives me to explore the subject until I can find some way to solve its mysteries once and for all.
Granted it's not like I'm taking it 100%, I'm mainly exploring the subject to teach, but it still grasps me more than almost any other subjects. The only others to come close are Physics, Psychology and possibly Philosophy. @Mag: I kinda hate research papers as well, granted I'm used to doing them for science classes as they are a necessary evil. Though, when it comes to a research paper of that kind it's much easier as things are a little more cemented as facts and aren't simply opinions. Assigning research papers when I start teaching though... HNNNNG I'm gonna feel like such a hypocrite.
