I don't have internet at my place right now. My dad, girlfriend, and I are playing through the game right now. We're all level 21 (I'm monk) and in Act 2. My girlfriend loves Diablo3. She had the idea of going to the coffee house later tonight and steal their wifi. She's addicted.
Edit: I also have a level 8 wizard that I'm playing with my girlfriend's barbarian. Also a level 4 demon hunter I was going to play solo but now it's reserved for my brother in law.
It really sucks with only 4 players per game. Especially if they aren't all the same level?
Can you confirm if a level difference is a big deal? I had a level 47 friend join me and also a level 42 join me. I felt like my experience was getting killed.
I don't think it kills exp. I did the final boss on my 32 barbarian with Misa's 36 wizard, then Uri and another on characters less than 10, and they were leveling up at a decent rate.
I only just started last night so I'm really just derping around mostly and leveling, my friend needs to get his *** on so he can give me the ***I got on his account.
You get a lot better stuff in nightmare than normal. I haven't played much nightmare, but when I did, it was definitely tougher.
On normal, my barbarian could rip through hordes of enemies with no problem. It wasn't much different on nightmare until I found a yellow monster. He ripped my face off XD I had to equip a shield, I was sad :/
Find me some h2h that I can use. Mine are like 25.3 and 23.4.
I don't even know how I should be gearing my monk. I was going for VIT and STR.
Have you spent any money crafting? I'm like level 3 craftsman now. I'm so poor, I can't afford a new stash tab yet.
STR doesn't do anything for monk other than give armor. You want DEX. My monk has a legendary and a rare fist weapon, rapes all the things.
If you hover your mouse over the stats, it tells you what they do and tells you which stat is the primary stat for each class.
Edit: My craft is up to grand master I think it is. I can make pretty sweet stuff, but I require the powder from nightmare to make the higher stuff now.
I could try to craft you some gear, but I'm low on powder and cash.
For example, I found a vendor selling rings that had +4-8 damage and an empty socket.
Even without a gem in the socket, they blew my old rings away, which had like 20-30 STR and attack speed (for barbarian). So if you ever find gear with flat damage, make sure to check it out.
What level are you up to? I originally wanted to play Demon Hunter but so does everyone else apparently. Wizard seems to really be limited by the staff/wand they have. I'm happy with my monk although I die a lot. Potions and that healing skill just aren't enough for me sometimes.
My barbarian is around 33 or 34. My monk is 18ish, and I have a 9 demon hunter.
DEX will help you live as it increases your damage and dodge chance. Combine that with the dodge mantra, and you will find yourself a bit harder to kill.
Edit: If you haven't already, you should turn on elective mode. It lets you put your skills in any slot, so you can customize it to how you want. I don't put my heal skill on in certain points, and instead put either the dash or that skill that lets you plow through enemies in that slot. Depends on the area and who else is in my party :P
Everyone is on D3 and no one is playing Dragon's Dogma! I really do need to just beat it the first time through to get the New Game + so I better access to fast travel...
D3 is in (4)8 hour maintenance mode right now, Flav.
Doesn't bother me lol... I don't have it yet... Probably won't get it til much later really... Played a bit on my brothers character to try it out but I'm far too into Dragon's Dogma atm... plus my regularly scheduled dynamis runs...

I like it too :P I'm not a fan of the bell drop, not enough damage for how much spirit it takes for me. I prefer the roundhouse with the rune that gives it fire damage around you. Hundred fists is pretty sweet.

Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
