Have not bought it, basically because I've been on idle mode until FFXI is back on.
Don't have Crysis 2 either. Not all that intent on buying Homefront either, it got pretty average ratings. So did Medal of Honor. And MoH only had 800 people playing it after 2 months.
Because most fps players cant think for themselvses. Homefront has the bet multiplayers since mw2 it's slightly different but tbh it ties as number 1 for me

I was actually going to buy Homefront because the Campaign looked interesting, and any FPS where I enjoy the campaign, I know I'll enjoy the multiplayer.
Then it turned out the campaign was only about 5 hours long with no reason to replay it aside from achievements, so that was kind of a disappointment.
One of the reasons I consider CoD games good, is they have the great multiplayer, sure, but they also have a great campaign to back them up. Some of the stuff in the MW2 campaign was fun enough to warrant a purchase for that mode alone.

I legitimately enjoyed Halo 3 for a very long time. At least a year or so, but after I played CoD4 once back in 2007, I never wanted to play it again.
Hoped Reach would be different but I literally haven't even logged 10 total multiplayer games in that and probably never will.
I think the major problem with Black Ops is that in FPSs, trying to keep everything balanced directly makes the whole game less fun. In MW2, you could have fun with any gun, at nearly any range, using any perk set, and you would have a lot of fun. Black Ops forces you to use the AK74u, Galil, FAMAS, AUG, or Commando to get any respectable amount of kills, and even then, those guns aren't fun to use.
Statistically, FAMAS (In my opinion the best gun in Black Ops) still has worse damage output and recoil/handling than the F2000 in MW2 did. And I would rather use F2000 in MW2 than any gun in Black Ops.

The story is short, but amazing regardless. It is a very good play through and the multiplayer is arguably the best in years. The multiplayer is balanced and a lot like MW2 it's fun with any gun, the perks are well balanced in the system used and the vechiles are fun if you earn them in a game. Which I'd say i'm a good FPS player when I take them seriously so I've had no trouble earning enough BP to buy stuff. I really suggest it for the MP it is without a doubt the best out there. Not to mention 16v16 is just stupid fun.

Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
