Today I ended up romping around in abyssea LTP and met someone. We decided to team up to proc, he lent me a GK, and then he went to EXP and I went to take a nap; forgot to give him the GK back.
Does anyone know someone that has WAR and NIN 99, is making an almace, and just got their GK accidentally stolen today? D:

do you remember the first two letters of their name?
do you run windower with logger plugin running? can just look back on those
did you try asking other people that were in the party with you?
Randomly "/sea AbysLaThein" and see if there are any names you recognize

Did you exchange tells with this person? Go to the targeting menu and hit the right arrow key on the "Chat>" button. This is where you can manually set your chatmode. Go over to "Tell" and hit the up arrow to toggle through a list of the most recent people with whom you've exchanged tells--the game keeps track of them even after you log out. Maybe you'll find the right name. :]

You can just check logger if you use windower and have the plugin (you should) check around the time you did it and you should see the name of the person
Put it on the AH. The moment it sells, the dude will ask for it back. it's called "Sod's Law". Then you both just hash it out from there!
Unfortunately, I've long since logged off and I never had logger up. :(
Which NM did you help proc?
Perhaps go back to same ??? spot and see if he's around. Someone doing the right thing! Yay!!
