Just wanted some clarification on TH.

I often hear people referring to TH3 or TH4, but as far as I can see, only TH2 exists as a job trait for theifs.

So what exactly is TH3/TH4?

Thief's Knife (Lv.70 THF), Treasure Hunter +1
Assassin's Armlets (Lv.74[?] THF), Treasure Hunter +1

People usually refer to them as TH3 when you have 1, and TH4 when you have both to save saying something like "TH2+1" or "TH2+2".

TH4 and TH2+2 are usually referred to in very different means, btw. TH4 specifies that the person has Thief's Knife and Assassin's Armlets, while TH2+2 acknowledges that it is not ACTUALLY adding like the traits would. According to testing, TK and TArms only add about 1% to a given drop per piece, while the trait itself has added anywhere from 5-15% on tests.

I'm pretty sure Treasure Hound only gives TH1 and will not stack with the Treasure Hunter trait.

Treasure Hound is one of the possible Super Kupowers granted at random after all 11 Mog Tablets have been found and returned to the Explorer Moogle in Ru'Lude Gardens.

While "Treasure Hound" is in effect, players will receive the effects of Gilfinder and Treasure Hunter under the effect of Signet.

* This has no effect if you already posess these abilities from your main or support job. Verification Needed

TH is a myth... anyways TH from the equipment is rediculously low compared to traits yes every bit helps but no reason to get on your TH4 or GTFO train. It does more getting people to use you then actually getting stuff to drop.

Who was on a TH4 or GTFO train? O.oa I use my TH4 Thf when we want something to drop just because it couldn't "hurt" to have the extra TH.

And btw Dasva... TH4 or GTFO!

wth are you talking about?

Sure, Mandau and P. Harpe are good for dmg... But this 'was' a TH thread until Kungfu got here.

Multiple TH don't stack for different characters. If you have a TH4 Thief on the hate list, it'll overwrite any TH1/TH2/TH3 on the hate list.

TH from different players don't. Whoever has the highest that took action on mob will take priority. However the items add a small amount to droprate.

well while this is being explained, does having multiple THFs in the pt/alliance create TH7 or whatever each thf has or is there a cap of some sort?

No. Theres differing reports but theres a question weither the highest TH of the pt that killed is what does it or the entire allaince. I've heard arguments both ways and find it's usually better if TH pt kills but whatever floats your boat.

Thats exactly what I thought. With TH4 I thought you got 4 rolls for the item. Doesn't up the drop percent just gives you more chances to obtain said items.
