perfect Herc boots are great and all, but...
The following are alternatives:
Tatenashi Sune-ate +1 (Relatively easy to get, cheap to augment)
Mpaca's Boots (defensive, PDT)
Kendatsuba Sune-ate +1 (Gil, defensive, MEVA, Subtle Blow, Crit rate)
Oseem sucks!

Forgot tate boots tbh but much as i hate oseem too herc boots are still very strong even with baseline augs. 5 ta and bout 30 acc is just a good combo

they changed MNK ws to ftp transfer so WSD doesn't do much for it anymore since the ftp isn't focused on the first hit

Because WSD only works on first hit and most MNK WSs are multihit with ftp transfer. Generally 12DA=6TA=4QA=24WSD for all those WSs with ftp transfer.
Ofc some WSs are at 8hit cap or close, so they won't benefit from multiattack or it will be slightly less effective, but that would require analyzing each case separately.

No factual test to quote that I can think of, but it should reduce counter hit tp generation.
That's why subtle blow strats work.

There are also several TP-free sources of damage, such as Blood Pact: Rage, Quick Draw, any kind of Jump, Counter, and any form of magic that does not directly do damage (like Poison II).

Then BG has conflicting opinions, this came from the Counter page on BGwiki.

That could also be worded weirdly and just mean enemies gain TP when they counter you but you don’t gain TP when you counter enemies.

+250 TP bonus is the important one.
+4 ACC or ATK is virtually nothing. If you play any job that could make use of magical/hybrid WSes, I'd much sooner go with 4 MAB in that slot.

It's actually a good idea. I've been having +4 acc on my moonshade since aeons ago, but swapping to +4 mab it's a neat idea. As much as the difference won't be huge, but still...

For me just the fact that we use on a few jobs the tp bonus weapons is enough reason to keep acc, hybrids benefit from the acc to as the best dps sets also lack acc... just saying.
