oh. if you wanted to do perimeter of the smaller figures you wouldn't use the 4 though, since it's just the height. you would just get 5 + 5 + 6 for the triangle.
sorry, i was concerned because if you add up all of your numbers you actually do get 48....

Yeah that is right. I didn't know how detailed they want it since they said each figure.
where are you getting 48 though? oh, like if you add up the 3 4 5 = 12, the other 3 4 5 = 12, and the 6x4 = 24... 12 + 12 + 24 = 48 lol.
Oh, it wont work that way though because you have double numbers in your triangle. So that's why you cant double the triangles for the perimeter.
i just mean the fact that you said area above it and that if you add them all up you happen to get the same number as the area actually is concerned me lol. since you didn't actually need any of those calculations to get the perimeter, i thought it was some really weird method of calculating area!
Oh, well I didn't need to go though all that, but I was bored... really damn bored.... So I just did it all to make sure it was 6

SOS math algebra kahn academy algebra First link I used to study for placement exam so I didn't have to waste money on reviewing algebra classes. And the guy at kahn academy does a good job explaining math concepts. A lot of times if I don't understand a math concept, almost always someone has made a YouTube video explaining it.
