SO I'll ask the career DRKs - Apoc yay or nay? It would be my first REMA if I go that route so I am guessing it would out do any other options I currently have available to me (Cronus/Triska +1/Montante+1).
Your go-to DPS option would still be something like an AG Ragnarok or an AG Caladbolg

Anguta says hello.

Good luck soloing it.

I'm unsure why soloing would be included in the usefulness of a weapon or its DPS output.

Luna asked for a REMA weapon he could make, Quetz proposed other soloable DPS weapons, Anguta isnt obtainable solo, for now at least :)

REMA (which is the acronym you used) implies Aeonic at the end of it.

For an aspiring DRK, are Sulev Feet/Hands still the best things to +2 first? I do have Ody Legs and I THINK those are better (than Sulev Legs +2) for TP with Acc/Store TP augs based on what I have read here.

Also, being that Flamma is an off month I grabbed feet/head +1 first.

yes feet then hands are solid upgrades. IF however 10 stp on the head opens up better gear options in the mean time, that is also not a bad upgrade as eventually you would want it for dt set anyhow. 4th are legs imo, and last is body.

The feet are i believe BiS barring DM aug feet on 1 hit ws's hands are an attractive tp/ws/-dt piece supplied you dont need stp in that slot, bare in mind with the plethora of multiattack available you may not opt for stp in that slot. The newer set is more targeted towards R/M scythe or WOC scythe. I did hands then legs simply to have better hybrid options

I didn't see it posted anywhere but confirmed Ratri feet give duration bonus to all spells and effects

Base spells were all getting a 20% boost (Absorbs, Endark, Drain, Dread) and with Drain 3 (NV/DS) duration is 5:06.

BiS Feet for Dark Magic confirmed, then.

So for my first Aeonic I went with scythe. Should be done with it here soon. I'm finishing afterglowing my rag and my LS says I wasted my first Aeonic. Any word on how good it is? Also is Dagon body any good for drk?

Your LS has no idea what they're talking about, Anguta is an excellent weapon.

First off, Anguta is a very good weapon. Especially a Scythe that can not only Ultra-SC, but is insanely easy to build an X-Hit from.

Dagon Body seems comparable to Emicho +1 Path B (STR+12 & ATT+8 vs DEX+12 & ACC+12). If you can cap acc & gear haste, Dagon doesn't look too shabby.

Could you post what your duration is w/o feet just so we can see if its added last or first?

It's applied last, and shares the same term with Fallen's Burgeonet +1, but is a separate term from Ignominy's Burgonet +3 and Kishar Ring.

Thus, with Kishar/Fallen's/Ratri, the duration is (Base)*1.1*1.7 = (Base)*1.87, and with Kishar/Ignominy +3/Ratri, the duration is (Base)*1.3*1.2 = (Base)*1.56.

Does anyone happen to have attainable sets for Anguta? I think I seen on Azagarth's other thread a 3 hit? Just looking at what I should focus on for this to be viable.

Thanks a lot for confirming this. Figured they might, but with SE's line of thinking wouldn't be surprised.

Can you check if Klimaform gets boosted Duration too?

It does, and from my limited testing it seems to affect Stun as well.

What is everyone's go to Self Skillchain using Great Sword?
I don't have a REMA, so I was hoping for something with Torcleaver, Reso, Grpund Strike, etc. in it.
Thanks!

Torc to torc is light and simple and uses very strong easy to gear ws otherwise you're looking at 3 or 4 stepping.

you will find that without scourge your really stuck to torc -> torc and anything other than that your just going to struggle as there is no multi steps using just GS go get long lights.. To do long good light sc's you will need rag, so get on it

together or separate?

Its hard to say best, I mean for everyday fights if I am the only one doing ws's I can usually just cata>cr>cata because I will normally want full health before I cr, and then will need it again after. Not the best dps but its a double darkness and performs fairly well for when I would be using apoc.

Also to consider is are you riding souleater through these ws's/ sc's and therefore do you want to use multihits like insurgency >consume mana+entropy > cata> cata
Or just a fast cata/cr/cata
Really recommand getting a skillchain chart out and playing around with it and realky knowing what elements your ws's produce, hell i thought i could do leaden + cata for darkness but nope chalk it up to learning
