Is aelius in this shell? I can't tell from his posting if he is or just joking around.

Depends. What time is it?

I'm rather amazed at how few applications we've received.

I think I figured it out.

EDIT: Honestly, you guys seem like you'd be fun to hang out with, but if my pearl was repeatedly broken, I'd probably look elsewhere too.

It's the best application process of all time. If someone is wound so tight that losing a pearl for five minutes ruffles their Spanx, they probably aren't a lot of fun to hang out with anyway.

I'm not saying that once, twice, three times is rage worthy, I'm saying if it happened all the time. It'd get kinda annoying.

its in your Lakshmi.Benjamus box ben. There is a drop down option for your name/account, the drop down is also present when you post.

Select Inbox
Hover over "Benjamus" (its a drop down menu)
Select Lakshmi.Benjamus.

That should get you into the inbox where your messages are. Where they go is dependent on what account name is set to default. I'd PM you but you know....

Doesn't work, but I have a lot of things blocked, and I'm too lazy to try and figure out the problem. My fanmail will have to wait!

Where PMs go depends on which account/character they are sent to, this works for replies, too.

Honestly, it's just Byrth being an *** with his autokick script. Actually, 99% of the time, it's Byrth's fault. The rest of us are nice if you aren't a potato. We have a very low tolerance for starch.

Sadly though, our leader has abandoned us so you're at the mercy of Byrth's estrogen and alcohol-induced spasms of bitchiness. Tears make him stronger, so don't cry about it.

TL;DR It's just Byrth giving Byrth all over everything?

Come on, it's funny.

Since RDM was completely useless when I played, one thing I used to love doing once I got it to 99 was going into Abyssea - La Theine, setting visitant for a full 120 mins, equipping all the Fast Cast ***I could find, and just waiting in base camp, randomly picking out one unlucky *** to cure lock for 5 mins till they were booted for an hour for having no visitant. FFXI was so fun.

You almost qualified for a pearl, but you just had to be RDM.

Suddenly I'm reminded of Hilander having a rage fest over SCH>RDM. It was so bad you couldn't type SCH when he was present.

Yeah, this isn't one of the "welcome to the LS"-hazing rituals that I typically don't take part in. I just don't like Aelius and will kick him forever.

Sorry, sometimes I sugarcoat my words so much that it's hard to understand what I mean. What I mean is that he strikes me as an awkward needy sycophant and I'd rather not bring that into the linkshell. In my free time I prefer to deal with people that are minimally needy, maximally funny, and come with nonexistent baggage. If I've got to be the one to take credit for kicking him repeatedly (probably fewer than half of the kicks were me) then I'm perfectly willing to do so.

He joins Ziq as one of the two people that I've removed from LS.

But..

If Byrth had his way, he'd have added about six more people to the list.

Arte generally agrees with me on the people that I designate as sucky and want to kick, but then saves them because she's a sucker for playing nicey-nice with 'tards.

Also yeah, I hate stupid names. Chia is safe because Ray's name wasn't terrible. Phaffi isn't bad because of his name. You missed Omegademon/Ssjvegeta. I will not-invite people because of their names, but I don't generally try to kick them for that alone.

I just said Phaffi cause you'd kick him anyway. Also, let's not forget that Byrthnoth used to be a stupid doodoo name too.
