New FF online...confirmed for PS3 and the PC! If it IS PS3 exclusive, they can go *** themselves. Exclusives can lick my balls, just make your game cross platform. And an MMO on a console only is full of fail.

but think about it, FFXI was ps2 and PC only at launch. my concern is with a new ff mmo ffxi is gonna die soon

And I highly doubt it will be Ps3 only. Everyone thought FFXIII would be Ps3 only, then boom, 360 gets it also. If this is an MMO, it would be plain stupid to put it on one platform, especially Playstation of all systems being it is the lowest out of Wii (1), Xbox (2), and Playstation (3).

I mean, there's a few thousand peeps that still play Star Wars Galaxies, and that game is a freaking tragedy lol

Actually PS3 is now leading in console sales over in Japan and considering FFXI first started in Japan... You also have to consider if they're going for next-gen graphics for the game; nothing against Wii, but it's not exactly up there in the next-gen graphics department. Considering you want to make a game w/ good graphics but want to tap the larger next-gen base considering both Japan, U.S., and maybe Europe you'd probably want to go w/ PS3. However, being exclusive may be temporary for the game.

the only way I could play this new one is if somehow I could import my current ff11 character into it...even if I cant really do anything with it in the new game. Gimme it as a run-around-town character or something.
I have no interest in starting any new MMORPGs..unless I can get a stable career and get like a stable adult life >.o
