Comma, semi-colon; aren't they essentially the same?
I don't know.
IMO punctuation beyond when actually trying to get certain points across differently is pure semantics, and the only people that worry about it are English nerds who have nothing better to do.
Grammar is an entirely different ballpark imo though.
I was watching via Xbox Live. They would put polls up every few minutes and the results were always heavily in Obama's favor. It was kinda funny to see. However, people watching that way were most likely in the 15-25 age range.
So it went down for a short time during his term, and has since gone up and shows no sign of it ceasing that. I just found a picture I found funny and posted it, and you political idiots tore it apart. This is why I tend to stay away from politics. Each side just bashes their head against the other.
Wait wait wait! Hold up! I don't know where this is, but the summer of 2008 was the first time gas reached $4.00/gallon here! Houston is four hours southeast of me. The coast of SE TX is noting but refineries.

Calling BS on that pic unless it's from Alaska.
gas dropped to $3.03 in lubbock over the summer for a day then jumped back up to like $3.75~$4.00+
I find it amazing that Romney went into this knowing that one of his biggest criticisms was not being clear on his plans for all these various issues yet he still dodged that point when directly challenged or was unable to articulate his plan in a clear way.
We heard a lot about what he wouldn't do and some details were given, but i still feel that it lacked any cohesive "big picture" message.

You found a picture that is so out of context it's only funny to those ignorant of the facts.
let's see:
id·i·ot
noun \ˈi-dē-ət\
Definition of IDIOT
1
usually offensive : a person affected with extreme mental retardation
2
: a foolish or stupid person
— idiot adjective
who's the idiot?
There's one side that really needs bashed (the side that presents half truths or lies) and the side that presents facts and reason, it doesn't take much research to figure out who is who.

You posted a politically charged picture that had no context with "just sayin" implying Obama caused the high gas prices. also, the highest peak of gas prices have never gone over the highest peak before Obama was elected and since that spike they have gone down slightly and peaked slightly never spiking to that high again.

The campaign only need convince people that Romney is a fresh face in the White House and they'll be sticking to that plan for the remainder of the campaign.
Duck, dodge and weave while indicting the President.
When he gets in, surprise! You get Bush era policies.
Romney won the debate, he had better posture and came off strong speaking directly to Obama. While it is superficial it has an effect on the electorate. Obama tried to get Romney to state exactly which programs he would reduce funding for or cut but Romney realized this would only give ammunition to be used against him so he did not. This may be unexpected and anger the casual observer looking for concrete details but the casual observer who is undecided probably would not understand the nuances in either candidates plans to begin with. Obama for his part did not make any major mistakes.

He already said he wants to cut the Department of Education completely and then reinstate No Child Left Behind. What else do we need?
