I'm looking for some examples of gear sets (Empy will happen eventually, but I'd also like to see some NON-blade:hi builds) for various NIN requirements.
Unfortunately searching item sets on FFXIAH is worthless after the 75 cap expansion, since most of the sets are WAY outdated.
Someone who knows how to be a NIN, could you give me some examples of TP, Solo, WS, Ranged, Nuking sets

Not sure what's good for a marches build, I never have marches when I'm on NIN. Shun: katana/katana/---/Demonry Oce +1/gorget/Moonshade/Brutal Toci's/Myrmex/Rajas/Thundersoul Atheling/belt/Byakko's/Thaumas Might not be quite right in certain slots, I don't have Shun merited and I'm going off the top of my head... Athos if you lack Myrmex and even if you have it on active days. Dilaram's vs Thaumas should be pretty close, same for Demonry vs Bomb Core. Nightfyre has it right.
There are a few current sets in my profile that I use. Nothing to do with ranged or nuking. Not my bag. Sorry. TP Set I would replace my Twilight with a Patentia (if I had one). Swap to Kamome offhand for Abyssea. TP Set with capped delay reduction Ignore the offhand Kikoku, I was playing around with mainhand and offhand control. Blade: Shun Use Athos hands when day appropriate. Blade: Hi I would swap to Athos Body and Kamome for inside Abyssea. NIN DMG-% Farm some Dark Rings and don't look back. NIN Evasion Should you feel inclined to operate in evasion gear. A few changes with this set are probably necessary depending on target and evasion needed.

Hands might be good in an evasion set, not sure anymore myself.
edit: forgot about iga tekko +2 ** Your Iga Tekko +2 should outperform in an evasion set.

I would agree Koga Legs would be a better substitution.
That evasion set was made a very long time ago (as well as it's actual use in my play). So updates to it would more than likely be necessary. are athos's thights any good for ninja?
I have a question that's been picking at me... Why do some people use rancor collar instead of agasaya's? O.o

I have never found a case for Athos's Tights on Ninja.

How do thaumas legs compare to haidate for hi/jin? Obviously would use haidate for shun.

At digi TP set, is 14% haste setup really beating the 25% haste setups?
Suppose the only pieces i'm really asking about is the waist and feet slots, compared to twilight and iga.
