UFC 2009 Undisputed

Ok, I have to ask this because it's just seeming damn near impossible to me.

Has ANYONE been able to pull off a submission in this game yet?

I've tried just about everything shy of the kitchen sink. I beat them till near death (or death), throw them on the ground, and try to break off anything I can, yet it always fails. However when the CPU on practically any setting tries one on me, he never fails. So, please help me out...anyone? lol

um...i have been able to pull off one..but it was really more of a stroke of luck...

honestly i prefer knockouts anyway XD

ive only had it work for me whn there stamina is all the way down, then all i do is button mash lol

Ok, my brother says to do a submission you need to click in the right joystick to start the submission, then once you have a hold, either button mash or rotate the right joystick in circles as fast as you can. That'll hold the submission and wear them down so they can't break it.

He says there's some luck to it, too, depending on where you are standing in relation to the opponenent as far as what you're gonna try to do when you submit, and the person you're fighting is a big factor, too. "Shogun" Rua, in the demo, is really good at submissions so it's hard to lock him up.
