A bit of cheezy engrish in some parts, but you can understand what the composer meant. The writer of the song is the drummer (and band leader), Yoshiki Hayashi: quite easily one of the best music composers alive.

So what? The average listener wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a new or old synthesizer, that was also not the reason I said she was talented to begin with. It's music, and it's good, that makes her talented.

The fact that popular singers are caught lip-syncing, does that also piss you off? The fact that almost every modern-day rock/rap/pop/alternative/metal band use synthesizers, does that also piss you off?

Yeah, I have the full platinum collector's series, both movies, and like 3 or 4 soundtracks. I still love NGE, but I'm not as big of a nut as I use to be. Still waiting for the new NGE project they've been promising for years. ><

On a side note, and on topic, this is obviously an old song they covered for the show. This is my fav version though, and the only quartet version I like at all really.

They're working on them think the first one came out 2007 and the 2nd one this year. I didnt really like death and rebirth however End of evangelion was how the series shouldve really ended I think

Ah, yeah just did a wiki search on it. Seems it's a re-make to simplify the story mainly. New chars/graphics/alt. ending to the mix, I saw a side by side comparison of the artwork I am glad they stuck to the art style for the most part.

There are 4 parts, 1 released, 1 coming out in Japan in July. So probably going to be a long time until we see an english version. :<

why wait? I havent looked into it in awhile but the way they orignally explained was something along basically a few OVAs that basically redid the series but keeping it truer to the original story or something and bettr quality of course
