Best melee clubs still Skirmish ones? I literally just tossed them and the new ambuscade makes blunt damage somewhat relevant, heh.
There are plenty of other options. I would say don't worry about just for ambuscade. Even the gimpest 119 club would own that cockatrice with Judgment or Realmrazer.
Can move 2 tiers of DW spells (specifically Animating Wail, Mortal Ray, Quad. Continuum, and Blazing Bound) down from "absolutely necessary traits" to "nice to have traits". Actually you can knock two of those spells off the list entirely once you get JTB2 (probably the first two I listed) since setting all of them would give DW6 but there's only 5 tiers to the trait. Add Saurian Slide to "nice to have", maybe Plenilune Embrace as well, and I'd probably knock Restoral off the list. Move Charged Whisker over to nice traits, add Amorphic Spikes in the same category (also a nice INT boost while nuking), add Water Bomb and Regurgitation to nice to have, add Rail Cannon somewhere in there. There are probably a few others, but that's what I see at first glance.
When you think of your typical time to WS, do you usually include or exclude the two second delay from a possible prior WS?
edit: on second thought, nevermind. There's already a field that shows cycle time on the setup page, it'd make the most sense to stay in line with that.

Of all the BLU JSE armor, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD bring your relic shoes for Diffusion+MG duration. The duration bonus (5% per merit, and yes you NEED 5/5 Diffusion merits) works on lv90 relic+2, 109 or 119, so reforging to +1 isn't imperative for the buff duration, but you NEED to use these with Diffusion. Drives me crazy when I see 3min MGs from random BLUs.

I've seen conflicting reports on this...do you need to +1 the Luhlaza Charuqs to get the full diffusion bonus or is the NQ enough?

I have the feet close to the top of my list of pieces to reforge first.
Most or all of the relic +2 aug and relic reforge duration bonuses do not change as you upgrade the gear afaik. +1 feet are for the extra skill, so 109 is more of a priority there. The most important 119s are af body and empyrean hands/feet, maybe empyrean feet as well since most here will use those for a long time/forever.
Edit: nevermind, I can't count. 600 exactly if you have 2x hq rings and the ASA augmented earrings, I thought it was 598. You lose a lot of fast cast in the process, but it's a thing. Can also trade in Cornflower for 2x hq rings and a FC Rosmerta's in a 550 set.

I've seen other BLUs, and that irks me to no end. With maxed job points, maxed diffusion, +1 boots, I get over 5 minutes on my diffusion mighty guard.
I don't know if NQ and HQ makes a difference, but I HQed them in the first place because they have blue magic skill on them anyway.

I am guilty of this. I'm always so busy jumping in on the current shouts when I get home that I keep forgetting to go farm those damn things. I've been sitting on the materials to 219 them too lmao.
But at the very least I have assimilation capped and Master so my MG lasts 5 minutes. Should be 6 but I'm not too far off lok

Confusion from the game's buff timer thingy. It says 4min + when I use MG so I assumed it was 5. And when there's a BLU with me that is capped + feet it reads 6 then immediately drops to 5 so I figured it was 5m and 6m respectively. Easy mistake to make on my part
