Taru PLD... *chuckle* I see all that HP gear and I keep thinking... where's the defense... where's the enmity... It's great and all for epeen, but it just makes you a really squishy water balloon. I just don't see how you could tank effectively in those gear setups...

My PLD/NIN in idle gear has about that much HP/MP and I'm elvaan... Tarunite! Good job on the 1700HP. Now go level MNK! I'll be waiting for the thread saying "Calling all TARUTARU MNKS!!!!" XD

This is my idle gear. And add +1 MP to my MP. I was wearing w legs instead of homam legs.  I've seen taru BLU's with over 2k HP... where's wow factor in this? XD
I'm curious what his MP was like if he's pumping that much +HP...

here is a copy of my 3 gear sets for pld. this does not have the gear i rarely use like - magic and MDB. tank gear : what i ware standing there geting punched in the face. http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=82063 non-magic enmity set : what i voke in and use with JA's. http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=82064 magic : for flash and all spells. http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=82066 There is a few things missing, but salvage and kings gear i will never get so i am not worried about it. well these setups are use with pld/nin, pld/war and pld/rdm. As for race it does not matter, given the merits i have and the 500 mp pool i have. I can out tank most other pld's basically on curing hate.

Your flash/magic set looks good for idling/atonement build. Have an ichi build that swaps in all your shield skill gear for when you're casting ichi. As far as flash goes, use the same magic build with the homam in it. Once you get homam legs you can swap out turban there for baha mask. Just remember that haste will shorten the recast of flash as well, flash builds enmity, therefore haste will help you get hate faster, but enmity will get you more. This doesn't matter once you cap hate however where haste will just come out on top. You can use all that HP gear for cure IV macro swaps. For example: equip HP>MP gear, then swap back to full HP for cure IV. I think that should do it for suggestions.
