Best dagger for thief
Not that I disagree with Mandau > Twashtar, but how does Rudra's need 300 TP to be efficient and how does Mercy have better mods? DEX is more readily available on the majority of THF gear.
because rudra gets beat by exent in most situations. And the other situations, evisceration wins.
I don't own a Twashtar myself yet, but I would imagine it's worthwhile taking the damage loss for sake of maintaining aftermath? Is Mercy Stroke stronger than the other two all of the time (I haven't mathed this out yet)?

On LV0 enemies, Mercy Stroke, using a lv99 Mandau, does about the same damage as a 200%TP Rudra's Storm, using a lv99 Twashtar.
Other than missing 1str on my augmented heca feet+1, my gear is perfect for both WSs.

I think my favorite part about Etoilemourante's post is the placement of the exclamation point.
"Mandau wins 100%!" seems so excited, and "i have both" is just some lightly spoken, breathy afterthought.

but Mandau wins sure , i dont use more Twashtar cause this... If ppl can choice , choice relic ! if cant raise relic, Empyrean stay decent and occassionalely make nice WS but never constant and only Stacked. Its good to post Twashar WS screenshot 10K... its happens all 1000 WS... Mandau constant DMG and triple dmg proc alot. At level 85-90 both was close, but at level 95-99 Mandau wins only for all. Main THF for 8 year. I remember farming subligars in Phomiuna aqueducts with Etoilemourante back when I was a little nooblet RDM.

If you want to stick with magian go with the fire path. It'll be your best off-hand going forward anyway.

So not for group fight Again how good is the double atk dagger for off hand outside abbysea |
