Guttler, Did I Just Waste My Time?

Do you not understand the concept of a hard cap? The last entity to cap VE before a mob's attack round/spell/TP move will be the target of that attack if everyone is at capped CE. A 5000 damage WS is just as likely to take hate as a 50 damage hit if both are performed right below VE cap. Player/enemy delays are not going to line up cleanly, so hate will naturally shuffle around between those with maximum hate. BST pets also lose less CE from taking damage given their higher HP.

Not that I was one of the people using profanity, but the "do you guys even have these weapons/jobs" nonsense is disruptive to intelligent discussion and should be an offense.

How does one think that Aymur sucks when it has a 4 min DURATION freaking aftermath that can make both the Pet and the master occassionally attack 2-3 times at a very high rate. Also has a Attck bonus on Pet of Tier 5 and enhances sic and ready which makes your pet even more badass. It also has a high DMG rating for a weapon. Even if you just let your pet do all the solo work, this weapon alone increases your pets DD abilities by ALOT while Guttler doesn't do ***for your pet. (ODD from guttler doesn't work on Pet, correct me if i'm wrong).

With a 4 min freaking duration and a WS boost to the actual WS itself. I don't see what the problem is. Saving up 300%TP for 4 MINS of pet OAT isn't worth it? GTFO with that math ***. 4 mins gives you plenty of time to spam ruinator and still get 300%tp in time for another AM3. This weapon does more for BST(who has crap DD options anyways) then what the other mythics do for their respective DD jobs. (who already have good empyrean and relic options etc.)

Is a BST pet likely to cap CE in the first place, though?

First, you're over by a minute. Second, you seem to have a lot of feelings regarding a weapon and no math.

This one time I got a weapon on the test server and I was quite pleased with the numbers I received from hitting some things compared to the numbers I received when hitting some things with some other thing.

I'm not going to claim to have your job description on hand, so to speak, but I'd think the proper role of a mod is to maintain or enhance the health of the community they moderate rather than simply police it.

Elemental weaponskills are the easiest of the bunch to calculate, as long as you know the mob's INT and MDB.

I'll save you some trouble. The final answer to any equation involving Cloudsplitter = Suck. Unless you're brewing with it.
