One of the four is the 5k/matter(100% if all nms killed) box. It will remain that box until you find it, then it will cycle to the remaining 3. Once you find it among the remaining 3, itll cycle to the remaining 2, then the last one. When you hit the last one, the cycle repeats back with all 4 at random.

It doesn't cycle through all the chests before resetting, Once you find the HQ chest it will rng respawn in any of the 4 chests.

I've personally had it respawn in the same chest multiple times on several characters (get it on tememos east, don't get it again til I cycle back to tememos east).

Simply pick a zone to start with, one you know has a chance of being a HQ chest. Meaning if you end your runs on east and it was a NQ chest, dont start on east next time you go. then cycle through the chests one by one. If you're lucky you'll get 3+ HQ chests, if you're not you get 1-2(you'll always get it at least once cycling through the zones)

Also your situation, as described, doesnt necessarily dispute the claim; your back to back could have been the last of an old cycle and the first of a new cycle. You clearly multibox, so I doubt youre tracking them all with such detail.

This looks like back to back east, but its a new cycle.

I mean I went back to back east in the same 5 chest run. HQ east, NQ west, NQ N, NQ Central, HQ East.

I suppose it's possible in previous weeks I got a HQ chest from west/north/central before that double east, I don't think it's the case but for sure possible.

As far as the don't start on a chest you know can't be a HQ, I just meant if you finish your runs on say an east that produces a NQ chest one week, don't start with east chest the following week.

Seems they are late on news about the update and this month's campaigns. Anyone have an idea on when they are likely to share those? Thanks.

nobody's late. the RSS feed simply doesn't update and so you're not seeing it on bg/ffxiah.

have you considered going to their website perhaps

They already posted them, is a problem with their website RSS feeds or something though so they aren't showing up on bg/ffxiah.

This is exactly how it works.

Let's say you've never opened a box before, the bonus could be any of the 4 zones.

You open NE, it's not there. Now it could be SE, NW, or NW, but it can't be NE (you just opened it, and it's not there).
Next, you open SE and get the bonus, yay!
Now, it can be any of the 4.

There are countless reports of people getting the bonus in the same chest back-to-back.

He doesn't mean "all 4 can be HQ" as in, they are all HQ. He means "any of the 4 could be HQ". Once you open one (and it fails to be HQ), then that's no longer true. Only 3 of them could be HQ (the three you haven't tried yet).
