Was one of the nastiest HTBC in the HTBC era, too. Don't think a whole lot of people were doing VD on release, I remember trying quite a few strategies and never getting it to feel totally reliable.
IIRC, we shot it down with RNGs (as everything back then). Fetters were a nightmare and we didn't have GEO back then to cut incoming damage. Also, Light Blade could wreck tanks, though I think with Aegis most PLD were fine. It should be a cakewalk now but I haven't tried soloing that guy in a long time

It's soloable on VD in 2026. Watch out for Light Blade, full DT isn't enough, it usually hits for roughly 2500, shadows help significantly. Fetters die to ~2 weapon skills or you can walk away from their aura. I don't fully understand all of his mechanics but at one point a duplicate spawned at around 15% and they both used Light Blade simultaneously. Ninja or Red Mage are good for this. Trusts will fall over to Great Wheel unless you have some aoe healing like Selh'teus. D is substantially easier, anything below is likely braindead.

They also say the campaign will run three times, August, September, October, but August already gone and it's the first time this "The Shadow Lord's Dominion" event has run.
Someone did a poor job putting together the release notes, or it's a bad translation.

In that case wouldn't the new dialogues have been datamined already, even if not available? I don't think anyone checks all dialogue files for changes every update. People looked for them after the announcement about Prishe. But yes, there would likely be dialogue entries somewhere if it's a quest.
Edit: There was the Prishe's Tear and key items in the dats, so people knew to look for dialogue last time.

Do you guys think SE will take these Curator moogle items and make them incrementally used towards future rewards? Like if I skip Crystal Board this month, will I be screwed because 6 months from now a Rainbow Mog pell needs a Crystal Board? :/

Probably goes without saying, but the Kam'lanaut fight is trivial on D for Dancer solo if you just pop both your 2 hours and spam Climactic Rudra's. Normal is simple without 2 hours.
Done a few, haven't seen any of the Archduke items yet

Does anyone know if there is an exhaustive list of every item that is "Obtainable from Goblin Box", like in spreadsheet format? Wiki says the SP keys pull from a pool of items that have that flag, but was wondering if there's a master list of items that have this flag, since it's in the .dats. I have a ton of keys that I have been wanting to burn but wanted to look at the list of items I can potentially get.

Thank you thorny. I wanted to export everything I have on my main and do a search for duplicates in the main csv, so I can see items like Orpheus sash, epam ring etc and then choose to send them back to myself so I can potentially get them from keys. Much appreciated ^^

here, this one is everything that's rare marked but not ex marked I've always wondered if there was a master list of every random item that is rare/ex and sendable to same account, just so we can control F through it nice and quick when needed
