Does View XI improve frame rate somehow?

XIview and other similar mods are mostly aimed at swapping the game standard icons for "cleaner" ones, and was incredibly important before SE at least made different colored icons for songs in particular. Another benefit of it is a sharper looking font than the game standard options. It won't improve your performance, but I really find text easier to read with its font options and have become addicted to those icons vs the game standard ones after all this time. I just thought it was weird. Maybe it was the way the person's video capture made it look or something? Mine runs at 60 and it just seemed even smoother.

Was Fu's intimidation rate after Ebullient Nullification ever determined? I'd be curious to know if it had a minimum intimidation rate percentage if enough buffs are dispelled / absorbed since its intimidation rate is pretty significant at the lower number end.

EDIT: Regarding Fu, I have some memory of it being 60% at its maximum but I have no idea where I read it in the first place. I just came back to the game and have a crafting question.
I have a question regarding the worthiness of my efforts to craft a Escu Shield. I'm done stage 1 for clothcraft and I'm reading about botters and exploits. I'm now wondering... if there's even a point. Am I too late to the game with 2021 around the corner as well? I'm well aware the game isn't going anywhere, and that SE is promising something... for May 2022? I just don't want to try and climb a mountain only the be hit with an avalanche of botters undercutting me. I have the gumption to go through with the shield, just looking for some wisdom and free advice if it's worth the hassle. You WILL be undercut. It will be significantly harder to break even and/or make money. But, provided you make a solid effort to do so, you will come out ahead, it will just take longer.

I just don't want to buy gil (like everyone seems to be openly doing these days) or gear a job I don't want to play only to get pigeonholed into it and not play the job I want to play. Does the Ionis benefits work in other cities as well? I'm crafting at a guild and curious of the benefits extend across the sea. It only works in Adoulin areas, the part I'm not 100% on is if it works in the garden or not.

I currently have a gaming monitor with a 1ms response time or something like that. I’m wanting to upgrade to a larger monitor. Does a faster response time even make a difference in this game? What's the max damage of the Helix DoT with typical or BiS Helix duration these days?
10,000 damage every 9 seconds for # seconds? (10000 x floor(duration / 9)) +- 10000 How long can you get a Helix to last and what's the typical HP of most of the Aeonic HELMS? Party of 3. Wondering about a setup like SCH, GEO, BRDorRDM(threnody or Frazzle III for resist reduction) with at least COR prebuff. I remember general rule was that adding another person adds roughly 200k more HP for SMN burns, but not sure their base HP. |
