I don't think there is a cap. For my first Iroha win we used EA/Scherzo strat since we didn't know about RDM's usefulness for that fight.

Havings DDs wear 0 DT or shell made EA/Scherzo proc almost 100% of the time. I think it never procced once or twice in the whole thing. This procced so often due to how powerful the moves were, so moves which were supposed to do 2-3k+ ended up doing 100-400 instead.

Went out and answered my own question.
Had EA and +8 Scherzo for a total of -98% damage reduction if no cap.
Took 5% damage.
95% damage reduction cap.
I feel like I already knew this. <.<

I got confused tbh lol. I thought you meant proc rate, not cap on damage. My bad.

That's actually not bad but I never saw it anywhere near that high for longer than a couple of weeks. iirc at the height on my server settled around more like 150k or so. The issue is how often monsters bite eating your bait, how long it takes to even get a bit of the right fish and then how a large portion still snap line leading to sometimes not a single fish in an hour. Regardless ***is like 10k each now so it's super bad now also RoE exists now so farming gil is super easy now

Maybe you can net some decent money by earning sparks/accolades completing RoE quests? not sure im not into fishing but if bots can make millions killing trash...

yeah RoE really shifted up the gil making landscape to the point where everything is compared to it since it's something even trash bots or people watching tv can do if you aren't at least close to that or you are doing something for stuff personally for you (ie farming materials that don't go up often and such) it's kind of a why bother

Can someone help me understand the capacity point bonus from job gifts? Let's say (for example), you get the 25% CP bonus. Is it 25% of the base number or something? I ask because it doesn't seem like I get much more with these upgrades.

The upgrade is massive but its all applied to base and naturally the more bonus you already have less aparent is the increase.

Overall, with gifts alone, you should expect to earn twice more comparing no gift bonuses with all of them acquired.

Thank you. Maybe it's because of this campaign messing with my math.

How much CP does someone normally get per kill (not including a chain) when there is no campaign going on? It just seems a little inconsistent. When I have one of the +150% rings active, I always get 65335 CP. With a +50% ring, I can get 40-55k but without, it was 20-30k and even the last CP upgrade I got didn't seem like it did anything :(

How much (and what type of) haste does Excenmille S give as a trust and what are the rest of his AI behaviors? I'm half considering using him while soloing apex but I'm unsure what setup I should use for capping haste. I feel like switching things up a little since changing to Yoran means I can no longer rely on my healer to cover haste.

Something to keep in mind is that CP per kill caps at that. At that point, additional bonuses won't do anything, you'll still just get 65335.

Otherwise, it'll depend a lot on target.

It's 15% but also similar atk boost and MAB boost. Problem is ja he uses if it's up upon engaging a mob that lasts 3 minutes but has a recast of 5 so you have to dismiss and call him again if you want to maintain it

Hi.

Im looking if i can add some defense down on mob while tanking on RUN. 2 options that seems interesting is armor break or Nandaka added effect. So

1. How is armor break working on high lv mobs? Can they be fully applied?

2. Any info about Nandaka added effect? Like how much per debuff and duration?

1. Armor break applies fine, ayanmo set+acc/macc accessories will have it land on just about everything it can apply to
2.No idea, never got solid numbers confirming how potent it was as far as im aware

If that's what you have, then whatever you get on your first kill for your mob of choice. The campaign ends up doubling/tripling the XP/CP chain bonus, but the base amount isn't boosted.

That said, the PLUS version of the campaign (which is in effect the first half of the month) also doubles the potency of buffs from rings. Your 150% ring is 300%, 50% is 100%, etc. So that may be making numbers seem odd, or making the Gift bonuses relatively minor.

Yeah they've worded it poorly and makes it a lot less good since well if you overcap you actually lose amount given and in the end even if you don't it's not really increasing the amount you get since you'd use up the ring fast either way

someone with ALL the various traits stacked will cap their cp at 65k without any campaigns during chaining, if the mobs are high enough like inner rak

so the campaigns just bring everyone else closer to that range.
