I just tried using brd/rdm to blind maju.
had 435 macc using food and 185 enfeebling magic skill.
is that not enough?

Even RDM mains have trouble landing blind on maju without buffs, last I checked. I would not expect BRD to be able to get higher than base (5%?) land rate.

If would probably be easier with brd/sch? Landing dark threnody 2 and relying on immunobreak procs?

If you are bringing a geo just have them do it with focus/languor. ride them immunobreaks. I've seen non-rdms land blind on Maju, but maybe twice in all the majus I can recall, and always after an immunobreak, and to be honest it was never a setup without a RDM, they just happened to catch the window after the immunobreak before the RDM could (such as a BRD/BLM ES Blind, or a SCH/RDM for examples).
As has been stated, those immunobreaks are key. Having RDM'ed dozens of Majus I know I'm not gonna land it even as a RDM main without at least one immunobreak. Leviathan.Celebrindal said: » immunobreaks are key ahh I wasn't sure enfeebling matter as much mostly macc.

The faulpie leather seems like a *** up they just refuse to address. Why it's not hide/leather is incredibly stupid. All the other ones are standard ore/ingot log/lumber thread/cloth.

according to https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Mercenary_Rank, nyzul can get me 1 point to get 25 points and promote ? i'm in the 19-24 points range. Just do all 50 assaults, afaik you still need to do them all anyway.

Trying to get absyssa maw warp access for a mule.
