I apologize but I can't seem to remember what the name of it was exactly but searching the forums doesn't seem to bring up anything for me. If anyone happens to have a link to that thread I would greatly appreciate it. More of a gearswap question I suppose but; I can't seem to get my gearswap to change between my Ambu TP cape, and my WS ambu cape. I'm basically full timing the TP cape for some reason.

Windower or ashita? How big is FFXI nowadays? (gonna try to put on my tiny ssd) Windower is better for the average player. Ashita if you want to step your game up.

Anyone have experience comparing windower to ashita multiboxing? Will one have better performance and reliability then the other?
Ashita will have better performance because it's plugin system has much lower overhead than windower's spread. The difference is not significant unless you're really struggling to keep framerate up, it's not going to increase the amount of characters you can effectively play or anything.
Realistically, turning down graphics settings, using a directx proxy(only if you have xi running on igpu without it), or buying/upgrading to a better PC are the only way to get significant boosts.

The biggets impact for fps in graphicsl settings i have sene is from shadows
going from complex down to simple on everyone else cna give huge fps increase in heavy congested areas. Also for multiboxing I always recommende to install Project mercury http://www.techcenter.dk it will help make you experience less laggy as the windows you control gets priorty and thereby lag legs. ( the lag is "pushed" the the sessions you are not currently controlling) Project mercury doesnt do ***. Windows already prioritizes tasks appropriately and affinity is only worth using in very specific circumstances.
