Ive done it on BST and PUP solo i went 3/5 to get full drops failed twice. If you get hit with beastconstruction (i think its called that) more then likely a fail. Can try getting the buffs to movement speed and auto reraise. With an extra feet, prob should be able to kite the ape even weakened or encumbered. Actually maybe you can even ran out of range of beastruction (with buffs, gear you should be almost at flee speed). With the following equipped: Sandung (TH+1) Thief's Knife (TH+1) Plunderer's Armlet's +1 (TH+3) Chaac Belt (TH+1) Raider's Poulaines +2 (TH+1) That's TH+7 in gear, plus +4 from being Thief, ie: TH+11 When you activate TH on a mob, will it always start at 11? Or what is the starting cap on TH now? Please assume no kupofried effects or anything else. Just this gear + native traits. Thank gear + trait caps at 8. so it'll start at 8.

First, TH is only +3 if your main job is Thief. There is now a CAP of TH8 with (gear + base TH), if your main is THF. (TH4 is the gear cap for all other jobs) There is a hard CAP of TH12 you can upgrade to with thf normal attacks / bounty shot. Basicly, the new upgrade on plunderer's armlet's (TH3) allows you to reach gear cap without TH daggers. This still confuses me since I have +4 in gear and never hit less than TH8. the message that your TH upgraded is increasing your Th level
if you hit the mob once and don't get a message, it has TH7 the message is upgrading it to 8 and informing you of that Awesome, thanks!

For debuffs on the mob, get Elegy, Threnody, and Lullaby Might need more, but that is what a few of my LS members get on their Bard mules |
