Dia slow and para for white mage magic. For black mage magic sleeps, bind, gravity, but those have longer recasts than the white magic spells.

I don't know how you are leveling but no, I would not wait until dia 2 to spam it. If you are getting XP the traditional way in 6 man parties, than keep casting it on every monster.
Edit, can also cast slow, paralyze, silence as enfeebling spells

No? I actually don't know since I skilled up my enfeebling as I leveled up. I guess from the viewpoint of going back at a higher level and spamming on too weak monsters, that makes sense, to wait for Dia 2.

Random Question: On Bard, what is the modifier for Magic Accuracy? Wiki says macc is equal to intelligence. Was thinking if that was meant for RDM BLM etc, since Bard is more Charisma. Or should I macro in INT gear? So Lullaby, Elegy, Requiem, Finale. I think when Wiki says int, it is meaning towards int based spells such as sleep or nukes. I think you are safer with CHR for song magic accuracy, but I could be wrong.

IIRC, magic accuracy gear does affect song accuracy. If I am wrong then I did a lot of things wrong with my BRD mule/alt.

I believe the rough ratio of CHR to m.acc. for bard is about 2:1 but that will vary. You'll want to prioritize m.acc. gear and then stack skill/CHR.

I have a lot of macc gear that gets macro'd in for buffs/debuffs on monsters, I rarely get "resist!" message on log. I did CHR+ gear first time around and would get a lot of resist, so swithed it and works good now. Just need to find out if INT plays a part for songs D: Ohh, then I am fairly certain INT has nothing to do with songs.

Stack as much as you can if you're really concerned about accuracy and inventory space isn't an issue. (I assume you meant elegy instead of march?)

Hello again. Where is the gate sentry in West Sarutabaruta (S)? I've looked at I-4 and can't find her/him anywhere.

I just got access to a second character that is pretty gimpy but has a pretty decent amount of cruor. Was thinking of using it to brew a few things, assuming I can level a good brew job and gear it painlessly. Most jobs leveled are mage-types but it certainly wouldn't be hard to level a job just for brewing.
Suggestions for what that job/weapon combo might be?
Alternatively, is there any point in brewing on a casting job if elemental skill is severely underleveled? I've never tried it.

In terms of efficiency, Wildfire COR is great for brewing, but not worth the hassle if it isn't something that you have already. Any job with access to Aelian Edge works, Sanguine Blade in some circumstances. You won't have much trouble killing anything with a brew provided you keep an eye on special mechanics like damage absorbs.
As for bewing with underdeveloped skill, unsure if brews provide a straight m.acc bonus, but you're going to be getting a decent chunk from capped INT and whatever Atmas you're gonna be wearing. I'm willing to say that skill shouldn't matter much.

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah Wildfire is definitely out lol, but I was leaning toward a dagger job just because it's so easy to skill up. He's already got RDM pretty high, so that might be the winner just in terms of ease.

Also, where is a good place to skill up Great Katana at level 70?

Since SE changed Spirit Surges Haste type not too long ago, does anyone know what the haste classification is of it now?
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
Quote: This thread is for off-the-cuff questions that don't merit a full topic to answer. 'What should I wear for my level 65 pup?' 'What's the best way to learn the Qutrub Blu spell?'
