Why you still keeping the 2-tick option instead reduce both to 1-tick away from default. And it's easier to memorize. Keep pressing left/up will get you to the gil regardless of precision. Same stuff with conquest point.

For what it's worth, I'd rather see them streamline menus instead of making hunt registeries or ballista valid means of anything. Menus I use all the time.

I don't like the hunts or Ballista and would be thoroughly enraged if they made anything worthwhile exclusively available from those activities.

Edit: That said, I don't like the whole "conquest points to teleport" at all. Adds an extra step I'll never use. If I do somehow get extra CP, spending it on Voiddust would be infinitely more useful.

That's no good; it's possibly the most sensible solution all round so obviously 99% of people will think it's HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and hate it.

I think people need to understand that this isn't the only thing they are working on. Not to mention it won't take very long at all to change two menu options around (like 10-30 minutes tops), and for us to vote it really just takes 30 seconds of our time.

I don't think they should be ignoring people talking about the loot system, but players also already know their answer. You either like the event or you don't, and believe it or not that has been the case for every event ever created in FFXI.

You see people who absolutely hated the HNM system yet there were people who really loved it. People are comparing VW to how HNM use to be, and I personally believe that SE introduced VW for the HNM players after a year and a half of abyssea (which they all called easy mode).

Not every player is the same, and has the same opinions on things. Not every event can be suited for the mass majority of players. I do think they did wrong by adding VW as the only event after Abyssea forcing all players to do it when not everyone will enjoy it, but it really is just a filler event until they finish up with these future updates.

I absolutely agree that there needs to be a wider variety of events, and the next updates to come are what we've been waiting for. Limbus, Nyzul, Legion, Einherjar, and new VW. All coming in the next few months and will all still be very active.

I don't think SE should be ignoring player requests on the loot system, but I also don't think it should be changed to what the majority of players want. I think there needs to be a change to where you can't get the same rare/ex item in your chest and it should be going to someone who doesn't have it.

I am one who believes that the little things in stories and games are what matters most, like this menu change. They are working on other projects, but they are answering to player requests. If they change it or not depends on the vote (atm the majority of players want it changed), but the dev team isn't wasting time on this. A poll is automated, and the community reps (which aren't the dev team) are going to count the votes and send the results to the dev team and us.

Depending on the answer they either get back to work or flop the menu items around. It's nothing more than that. People hating on this and pankration need to stop being such sourpusses and just enjoy the content that is coming. If you really are hating the updates SE is bringing then why are you still paying them? Shouldn't you be playing a different game if you disagree with everything so much? I think people are complaining just to complain because they aren't getting what they want, and that is VW changed.

I challenge anyone who disagrees with me to list what is broken in this game.
Out of all of those, is this menu change going to prevent any of that from being fixed? No it will not.

/end rant, off to do salvage and dynamis

What I think is stupid is that they give us polls for a bagatelle like this, but not for more important things. They can adjust all the threads of grass in Ronfaure if they feel like it, but it's like they're ignoring the disparity of importance of things. They are making adjustments to stuff, yes, but without asking/listening, instead they are so attentive about a teleport menu. Adjust it, ok, but come on...

Crafts are hurting I think, but if you use synergy and work with others you can still do it. I think synergy did break crafting though, but I also think that the crafts were coming to their limits realistically and needed the power of other crafts to make items, so synergy was born to extend the crafting process. I personally love it.

Synergy burns my *** because the interface is terrible. The menus are too slow and unwieldy. It has potential, but you shouldn't have to team up with other people to synth things. It's a bad minigame that needs adjustments to be anything other than frustrating to me. Crafting is something I enjoy doing at times when I don’t have anyone with whom I can adventure. Needing a partner (or more!) people to craft completely destroys this concept.

As pertains to this thread, however, I find the additional step when outpost warping is something that throws me off because I do a lot of it as a means to travel around the world, and it gets me out of my normal rhythm. I will eventually adjust, I suppose, but much like Windows asking you for the fourteenth time if “you’re really sure you want to delete that file,” I can do with less verification steps, especially when you’ve already got me into a familiar pattern.

So no: the change may not hurt other content or anything. But it does cause a slight bit of turbulence in my gameplay. And, like having a wee bit of dust in your eye, that slight turbulence can be really grating if it sticks around.

This is the most Stupid things ever from SE.

There are things more important and used daily from player community to change or to POLL than a little order in a menu, from an action used by players mainly once a week, from mother nation.

1St I guess now people get use to it anyway, or don't bother anyhow.

2Nd if SE doesn't change it ( people will think they don't listen anyway )

third and last if they changed it, most will think what a waste of time and resource for something, honestly so little to change into FF11. game play.

I am just so surprise SE take this as serious, or are they trolling
us ?

SE if you want our point of view DO A REAL POLL on REAL STUFF AND REAL THINGS WE DO CARE AND USE DAILY ....
I use the OP warp basically everyday, but that's because my HP is in bastok.

Synergy is far from perfected and working as it should, but I stand by what I said. Crafting could not go any further or I think it just would be too damn powerful. How can you make more powerful gear limited to 1 craft at 100?

I think they need to introduce synths for normal crafting but i think synergy, the idea of it, was needed.

I'd talk more on it but going in for salvage lol.

Yeah, because that really helps improve the game doesn't it? It annoys me when there are legitimate complaints about the interface and people just say "Suck it up". If SE would be half way freaking consistent with the menu system and confirmations then we wouldn't have to worry about it. Why do some menu options default to yes while other's default to no. Why do some have the confirmation be up rather than down? Why do I have to click again after saying yes just to skip past the thank you text after warping?

Why can't they just keep it all the same so we are able to easily do basic and everyday tasks without having to stop, make sure we're doing the right then and then select. This isn't about being lazy or needy. Picking the right option isn't hard, it isn't a challenge and it adds nothing to gameplay. So why don't we fix it so we can consistently rely on kinetic memory to do simple tasks and not get tangled it worthless menus.

FFXI's menus and interface is a source of much frustration...

If you are saying they should be asking the player base to vote whether they like something or not, then I agree with you.

I think somethings need to be left up to them, but more often than not I have been disappointed by their actions before asking the players what they want.

Perfect example: final level cap fight

wastes inventory. I love the idea but not going to use all those slots to hold earrings for each location

nashmau earring
norg earring

done unit

I do it, I like being able to get to any location on a whim. Of course, I only play one (inventory-intensive) job.

When jeuno finally gets access to storage, I'll 'maybe' consider staying there (probably not).

I like bastok though. Plus I like OP warps, and not spending 1k crour to get somewhere either. Plus it stays a little bit more like it use to for me.
