I haven't tried running k-parser yet, but 4/5 Merits in an all out STR build I was doing about 3300 - 5800 on T-VT dolls in Altepa. Obviously the 5800 was a 4 or more hit Shoha, but I was seeing 5k damage frequent enough. I picked up 60+ merits in one PT and was tired of playing, so no tests with 5/5. lol

Put this together real quick for the max STR setup I was using. I think I was using justice torque in this set up, but I may have been using justiciar's torque.

Since I've been meriting like a fiend, I haven't really killed anything outside of Abyssea for comparison numbers. I'll see about doing some actual parses with more than just 50 or so eyeballed WS on weak Abyssea mobs.

Yeah, that abyssea sure is cool.

but when you start to do them numbers outside of abyssea, it starts to show where that ws really stands, 3/5 was out damaging my fudos.

Would it be the same for Elemental belt and Beir belt +1?

Oh, and also;

That was with 5/5 merits and on one of the 'decent challenge' funguar. All I had was Hasso/Meat Mithkabob. No defense down debuffs of any kind.

Everyone should just use TP bonus GKT + Atma of VV, Apoc, and Lion for highest multi attack chance. Faster WS cycle and higher chance to spike in WS.

Question, I'm not a career SAM anymore and I only have the Hiradennotachi Fudo GKT.....I do have the STR and TP Bonus (Keitonotachi) lying around that still need a few trials to finish, would one of them be better than Hiradennotachi for Shoha when I merit it? Or not bother? Anyone else using Keito? Would be interesting to know, thanks.

TP bonus would be far better than either of the other 2. Hiraden gives nothing to Shoha and you'd have no use in using Fudo as far as I know. STR GK would be a step above Hiraden and probably be decent overall, but the TP bonus GK beats out everything except maybe Amano.

Looks like this ended up being a Fragmentation property Great Katana WS?

Finally!

Should be able to do Kasha >> Shoha >> Fudo double-Light self-renkei now. Pretty nice!

Also, unless I'm mistaken, this means Tachi:Shoha should be compatible with Breeze Gorget, Thunder Gorget, and Shadow Gorget.

Sound like a nice suicide plan.

And correct for the 3 gorgets.

with a 100% STR mod, how is the gorget gonna beat, say, the ire torque +1? Can you number crunch it for us and show us?

for the record, I'm LOVING this WS at 2/5 so far, with tp bonus GK. My Masa might be dead, til I build Amano :(.

Let's say, you have 150 str total for WS , that means you'll have 127 WSC. Keitonotachi +3 has 100 base damage and hence 19 max fSTR, so you'll get worst case

100(Keitonotachi+3) + 127(WSC) + 0~19(fSTR) = 229~246
Ire and Beir have 18 STR total, thaht nets about 15 base damage.
15/229~246 = 6.09~6.55% dmg up

Now a 0.2 fTP increase from 3.15 is 6.34%.

So we're pretty close here.

But remember that's the worst case, where ire and beir are better. As your fSTR goes up, those number are getting lower.
I still pick gorget/belt due to +10 acc from each of them as opposed to -14 dex from ire and beir. And the fact that 6.34% number is static and not dependent to your total STR.

And people need to realize this is a 2-hit WS. So accuracy might still be the problem. Heafoc mitts, Varangian Helm, try to ditch those 2.

Meikira Oto +1, is what I use, and 150 STR is VERY low... seriously.. not to mention, that the "+4" (forgot the name) has a base dmg of 105.

My WS set outside of aby, is pretty close to finished, and I'm at 100 base STR (8/12 merits) +87 STR in gear..so I think you're scenario is a lil off. Can you give me a lil bit better of a math crunch, plz ^^?

and that +87 uses Justicier's Torque, not even ire+1 atm.

Gorget is roughly worth 15 str, heard that somewhere on here, from someone who knew what they were talking about. Any way gorget and beir +1 is the way to go.

Set I use;

I think that gorget comparison only works for certain types of WS (mainly 1 hit WS, no?), not all at the very least. I don't think its quite as cut and dry. And I don't think that general rule applies to these WS, as we've never had a 100% stat mod WS before.

That sounds very skeptic, tbh.
