Anyone think this flu will turn out to be anything big? Wondering if I should deem myself screwed yet :)
They've stated 5 billion times you can't get it by eating pork...
Still waiting for that SAR's and that birdflu and that other disease that was supposed to be the 100 year epidamic.

... You can't get it by eating pork, or anything else for that matter. It's transmitted like the regular flu, by airborne droplets and what not.

Personally I don't think its going to turn into anything big.
I mean, look at the panic we had over the Avian Flu. Everyone was all "zomg we gonna all die!!!111!!!!" *looks around* Still here, aren't we? lol Sure there's no "cure" for it at the moment, and its pretty damn nasty, but contracting it can be avoided with a little common sense. <3 Ham. Mmmm tasty.
But yeah, pork products aren't good for you, especially considering what gets pumped into piggies and what they eat... Sewer of the mammal kingdom. =| Shellfish aren't so great either. XD I'll stick to my steak and fish fillets. :3 Trying to eat healthier anyway. >.>  Never quite thought about what pigs ate/were force fed. Hmm...
