Jackaverted was the champion! Because of the positive success I will definitely be doing this again in the future. Maybe other servers will try to replicate it, it seems we had a lot of interest. Many thanks to Upbeat for the livestream, which made it successful. And as always I am looking for opponents, challenge me whenever.

And yeah, changing ammo will make you stunned for few sec. I remember swapping ammo for angon and i got locked out :x I don't enjoy doing pvp, in any game not just ffxi, but to watch this it was surely fun.
I'll be looking forward to the next tournament. See you all then.

Btw, if you guys wanna do something cross-servers, why not on Undine? Or is it not active there?
I'm extremely happy with the turnout. The stream was a huge success, almost 200 people joined to watch! At one point we were up to 85 people watching live in the room.
I really think even if we made one more person want to do PvP then we did our job, and we did that exact thing. At the gather together time only 4 people were waiting to get on the island, by the end of the night over 40 people had shown up to either join in or watch the fighting. That isn't even counting all the people who couldn't make it, and just watched the stream. I can't even put it into words how happy it made me last night to see everyone in the chat talking about strategies, and what the PvPers were doing wrong/right. If anyone watching the stream last night, or anyone in general wants to 1v1 on Odin send me a /tell! Get some practice in :D

I actually read through all 10 pages of this, this is great stuff. This was a lot of fun to watch! Kudos to Urteil and Upbeat for making this happen, as well as all the great players that made this worth watching. I'd love to tune in for any future tournaments as well. :D

Is it just me, or is the video not playing for anyone else? :x
I hear the commentary but the video is just the single featured picture. I'll probably still come off as a douchebag in some videos because once the match gets going I get all excited and I take my ballista seriously, so don't feel too disheartened if I'm criticizing you a lot.
The match is only like a couple of minutes long but I added in like 10 minutes of preemptive analysis so video just pauses along for first bit while I'm talking.

Tried to fast forward through chunks and didn't see anything. Thanks for the tips. Didnt see the mnk use counterstance as well as the earrings working on that one you were talking about.
