Take some time to read it over thoroughly and discuss, there is quite a lot of information packed in there.

This is a very big list of stuff they're putting in. Stuff that really stuck out for me:

1. New player tutorials: I've always wanted to see this. Though I'm way past the need to know how to play the game, it's always great to see the game be more newbie friendly >_>

2. Behest adjustments: I thought it was clever to add a wait timer to sign up for a behest. Now people don't have to sit at a camp for an hour to wait to behest again, and if no one participates then it doesn't hurt anyway if they can keep doing it every 30 minutes.

3. Retainer change: I think this is probably one of my favorite changes. This will most likely alleviate a lot of the dead retainers that have been sitting in Ul'dah for the past weeks/months when the players don't play anymore.

4. Airship/Chocobos: Everyone wanted this, so it's great to finally see it get implemented.

5. Repair Changes: This is great for those not needing repairs until the very last minute, but I can see this being a problem when people have gear break during the middle of a raid or instance. Guess people just need to pay attention to that now.

6. Experience Points: This will definitely promote more party play outside of leves. The chain and link bonuses will be cool to see and see how people will choose to party from here on out.

7. Passive: Oh my god you don't go into active through casting. <3

8. Low Level Dungeon: Another newbie friendly add-in to the game. I'll definitely go here with my friends and hopefully give my friends who quit a reason to play. :)

9. Ifrit and Beastmen Dungeons: This'll appeal to the people wanting more endgame.

10. Recipe Adjustments: Mixed feelings about this one. I guess I'll just have to try it out before I criticize.

Overall, this patch is amazing and I am looking forward to when it comes.

Everything is great and I have no complaints. I can't wait for this patch to be released.

These few things are what I like the most:

1) No recast timer on chocobo whistle!?
Can call it out as much as you want!? yay!

2) Passive mode casting
You can heal party members and then immediately do nothing for HP/MP regen to kick in.

3) New crafted items and recipe changes
The recipe tree for one finished item was soo big. Its nice to not have to go on a hour-long treasure hunt to find pieces. *.*

4) They fixed that damn bug that wouldn't let you log in for ten minutes or more after disconnecting from the game.

On another note: •When players within an instanced raid are forced to log out due to a lost connection, they will now respawn near their party members upon logging back in.

I was going to suggest putting in a Lodestone achievement for having a full party by the end of the dungeon, but this is better!

From how I interpreted the patch notes, the fee is based on your highest class, so if it's 50, regardless of what class you are when you enter the airship, it'll be 5,000 gil.

Still though, unless you travel to every city constantly, coupled with the fact that you can return to your city if it's your home point, 5,000 gil is nothing.

The following changes have been made to passive mode HP and MP recovery:
•Players will not automatically recover HP and MP when incurring enmity.

Wouldn't this make it so if you cast you would need to wait on enmity to reduce to 0 to get the auto-recovery to kick-in?

Edit: I have not played XIV so I don't know how the curing enmity works.

oh right I forgot about that part in the notes @_@

That is going to suck if you want to regen mp in battle and can't.

•HP and MP will automatically recover only while the player is stationary, regardless of whether or not he/she is engaged in battle. The amount of HP and MP recovered will increase based on the amount of time a player remains stationary.

My guess is as long as you stand still even if you incurred hate you'll recover MP, same concept as changing from active to passive now where you don't recover MP right away (at least not full MP recovery where you're getting 30+ back/tic)

Kaeko has showed the enmity does not reduce over time, so you probably can't rest mp during fight at all. Unless it means only the person who is active target (flash red).

just... wow O.o definitely a lot more cool things to do.

a LOT of things on here stood out to me, but one of the biggest was the guild leve allowance. so now if i take a break for a few weeks from XIV or leves, i will have a crap ton of things to do when i come back XD.

though my biggest thing is the abolition of physical levels. i always felt restricted since my main is thm, so i couldn't switch to a DD job without slowly... resetting my att points. now it seems like the armory system idea of "just change your weapon and go!" is actually possible. will definitely get me into trying things out more. and new exp chain/etc system looks great.
