Server transfer & or Merging

This is no surprise. Most servers are dead and are needed server merging/transferring.

Don't understand people who aren't satisfied unless there are overcrowded towns with like 3-5 different shouts for the same event or party in the same range.

Asura in FFXI was like that and it was also filled with drama with all the strong personalities around. Also, yeah.. Wutai as far as I know is a healthy population.

So many people have pointed out, including SE, why they won't be sever merging throughout this redevelopment process. Yet you still cry about it. Read the facts as to why that would be a marvelously bad idea.

If your thread on official forums wasn't liked or favored... what makes you think it would be different on pro?

Limited transfer is fine by me... but mrege at this stage is bad idea.
Basically getting optimal population now = any new people join become over population.

Trolling comments or flaming me for no reason is uncalled for. The lodestone forum on the general section was created to suggest either server transfer service or server migration. As you can clearly see there are people liking my post on there who prefer the service and those opposed... Well you get the idea.

You are correct to some extent. Wutai was populated upon game day release. It has died slowly due to uninterested players when it needed much upgraded issues. I had a strong back bone shell holder Heaven's eye with one hundred members (see Lady Saeko), so to say "No one wants him" is defamation and lying and I will not tolerate lies. I'm disliked by two shell holder groups based on a biased reason, so for the sake of the thread/rules on here I will not discuss it.

Now, regarding Wutai it is a slow server with the few notable "high cap" gear shell holder groups. I choose not to do applications based on personal reason, and that's my choice. Economy is unstable and fluctuates, items needed or needed to be sold are insufficient and takes much longer to sell than normal, and most importantly, experience parties shouts have become more leve quest dependent.

I used YG & ffxivpro's bazaar system and it's still not helping me sell items that are in demand for crafters or people wanting to skill up. Not to mention the notable needed synthesis that are interested in making HQ items (i.e. selling HQ items), so tell me exactly what is it this server makes it so significant compared to others? Look at Cornellia, Seblina, Fabul. They're successful and have a great friendly environment. Nope, not Wutai. We got Asura *** morons acting like end game elite. Good to know Asura server on XI was plagued with idiots.

My response was not to flame you. It was to point out that there are reasons as to why server transfer or mergers are not being done right now. Actually, there are better reasons for them not being done than the problem you face right now.

If SE is not merging servers or allowing transfers, why do you think that is? They are not making money... all of these servers are not free and are not cheap to keep up. Maybe it's because they have faith in their future vision for FFXIV and are hoping players will join or come back. Plus, there will be the PS3 market. It would cost more man power and money to merge servers only to make new ones later to accommodate a rush of new players. Also, if you have an influx of new players, especially when the PS3 version is available, and these players all pick a new server... you're going to have an underdeveloped community. Sure, starting fresh for a bunch of people may sound nice at first, but later down the road it's going to be more of a burden. You need the already established players there to bring the user friendly environment to them by having an already established market and players looking for new friends that can help when they are stuck in their progression.

Finally, there is a lot of hypocrisy surrounding the direction of this thread and your direction on the official forums. On that other thread you are doing the exact same thing you're complaining about in this thread. Making irrational personal attacks toward people on your own server and just plain not seeing the other side of things.

No one is saying that you cannot have server mergers or transfers eventually, but dude. This game needs to be ready for pay to play, the vision and redevelopment needs to be complete, and the PS3 version needs to be finished and in stores before they can *** server merges and transfers. Doing it right now would be backwards.
